| Guest chapter 10 . 5/28 The premis is good and there are some fresh ideas here but its written in such a souless way. Almost all of it is narration explaining what is happening and we baerly get any insight lnto how the characters feel which makes it difficult to care about what happens. There is hardly any emotional stakes in this at all. Hinata & Naruto apparently develop feelings for each other but its so vague its hardly felt at all. Tsunade comes back to the village without any of the emotional baggage she had in cannon and there's no mentioning of Jiraya being Naruto's godfather or Kakashi's relationship to Naruto's father. It just lacks emotional hooks is what Im saying |
