I'm married with children and am old enough to recognize dangerous addictive behaviour when I see it. Since I'm still married, I still have my day job, nobody in the family has starved to death, and the health department hasn't declared the house unlivable yet, I figure I'm not quite there yet with my FanFiction "hobby". I've been reading it for several months, and figured it was about time to contribute something.

My journey into the writing side of the fandom started with an urge to maybe write something so that I could contribute instead of just taking away, and seeing an articl in a National Geographic magazine that made me think "Huh. I bet the Cullen's would LOVE Kamchatka". See where random thoughts can lead, especially when they just won't get out of your head? Those thoughts definitely took on a life of their own, and sort of took over MY life - or at least most of my free time. And I wouldn't change a thing.
