Hey! My name is Debbie.

I read well-written slash stories, that are fun/angsty, light, short, and to the point. I may not start reading your story until it’s complete, because I’ve been burned too many times on fics that never finish. But when I do decide to start it, I try to review every chapter.

I’ve been writing on this site since 2009, when I wrote my first Jasper/Bella fanfiction story. It so happens that this story is still not complete, and I don’t intend to leave it that way, but I’ve been sidetracked by a slash addiction. I do plan on returning to that fic, as well as my other WIP’s. I will write what speaks to me. Forcing myself to write something that isn’t there, won’t be enjoyable for any of us.

9/8/2013: In between my original fiction I am currently working on Burnt Marshmallows. I've decided that I will not post this story or any other story chapter by chapter anymore. Once the story is completely written I will post a chapter a day until it's done. Posting one chapter a year is not fair to anyone reading the story, and with my life the way it is right now that's exactly what I'd be doing. If I sit down and don't stop at one chapter I'll be liable to finish it much faster.

9/8/2013: If anyone is interested I've written a original fiction novel that pretty much sells at every book retailer. It's called Livin' on the Edge, and my author name is DeeDee Brock. The novel synopsis:
Brothers, Wes and Scottie Townsend, formed their band 'Edge' seven years ago. At the top of the alternative scene, they're enjoying the perks of their success. Well, Wes had been, up until he spots a gorgeous fan he can't seem to take his eyes off of. Wes has always known that he prefers men, but everyone including his brother is none the wiser. And he's never indulged with a fan. Ever. Until him. After one passionate night with Micah Jameson, Wes' closet status is in jeopardy. Will he open his heart and risk all that's he's built, or will he bury himself in lies and deny a once in a lifetime chance at true happiness?

What is on my I-pod? - Well, anyone that knows me, knows that my favorite thing in the world is music. I love all types and genres. Some may say that alot of my music may seem generic, maybe it is, maybe it isn't. Unfortunately, with work and my other hobbies I don't get to explore new music as often as I would like. So, if you have a suggestion, let me know. I love just about anything. I currently only have around 3000 songs on my iTouch, but I am very picky about what goes on it. Normally, I buy CD's and only put my absoulte favs on my iTouch. Typically I listen to rock or alternative.

Completed!! Sinner's Island - (E/J) A FGB Auction story written for leckadams.

Originally, this was supposed to be 11 chapters, and even though it's moved up to 17 (due to all the reviewers who requested more from each chapter) I still call it a ficlette because I didn't go into as much detail with the story as I would have liked. If I'd written everything like I'd originally planned it would have been at least 35 chapters and I just can't/won't commit to anything that long.
