Here are some of my Favorite books/authors. If there are any books or series that are not listed below that you would like to recommend, please contact me as I'm always on the prowl for new books.

Twilight, New Moon & Eclipse and The Host: Stephenie Meyer; if you are reading this profile, you do not need any information on this author as you are already a Twilight junkie!

Black Dagger Brotherhood series: J.R Ward; If you have not read these books, you are missing out!! Adult Content. Lots of smut. However, reader be warned - you will be sucked into these books like no other! Deals with a group of male vampires who are the Black Dagger Brotherhood which protects the vampire race against their enemy, the Lessening Society - lots of fight scenes in each story because, they are vampire warriors people! I love all the brothers and just cannot pick a favourite! Each time I read a particular book, that brother is SO my favourite and then I move on to the next one and he is SO my favourite. Every character is amazing. Trust me, you will never regret buying and reading these books over and over.

The Midnight Breed Warrior series: Lara Adrian; another amazing vampire series; again, adult content (smut, fight scenes, etc.); Tegan is by far my favourite breed warrior - hot, hot and did I mention HOT

The Demonica series: Larissa Ione; HOT, HOT, HOT. Seems to be the prerequisite for my reads, no? Larissa has created a fantastical world full of grea characters. This is a guaranteed good read.

The Night Huntress Series: Jeaniene Frost; absolutely LOVE this series. Cat is a vampire hunter who falls in love with Bones, a vampire who is a bounty hunter. Excellent dialogue and the story keeps you engaged from cover to cover.

The Immortals After Dark Series: Kresley Cole; I don't even know where to begin with this series. Every book is AMAZING and, again, I cannot pick a favourite, I love them all. Lots of great smut and each book has a great storyline. I cannot recommend this writer enough.

Love At Stake Series: Kerrelyn Sparks; love all the books but Angus is definitely my favourite vampire in this series; Love me some Angus - who would have thought a man in skirt could be so sexy?? His book is Be Still my Vampire Heart and you will be verra, verra satisfied (you will get that if you just read the book, okay?)!!

The Southern Vampire Series: Charlaine Harris; this is a great series and Sookie Stackhouse, the main character, is a laugh out loud riot. Of course, everyone now knows of this series because of True Blood but the books are SO much better (less Bill, more Eric, need I say more???) These books involve all supernatural species; the books are found in the Fantasy section and therefore there is only a little smut, not a lot. Not much nookie for Sookie. If you like this series, you must check out the fan fics by Terri Botta, the are the best and have the hottest scenes with Eric and Sookie. Crazy hot.

Riley Jenson Guardian Series: Keri Arthur; Adult content galore; all species involved in the books, vamps, shapeshifters, werewolves, etc.; nice strong female main character

Lords of the Underworld Series: Gena Showalter; Adult content; Lords of the underworld who opened Pandora's box and allowed the demons to escape therefore the gods cursed them by having a demon trapped within each warrier; brand new series and so far it is amazing; lots of smut

The Alien Huntress Series: Also by the amazing Gena Showalter; Adult content (goes without saying by now, no?); fantastic series with great stories and strong women characters; also some of the best laugh out loud lines I've read in a long time

The Atlantis Series: Gena Showalter, AC, great series; especially loved The Vampire's Bride which has a survivor type theme involving different races only you don't just get voted off, you get killed off. Great book.

The Women of the Otherworld: Kelley Armstrong; AC, absolutely phenominal series; loved every book and every character; I'm currently obsessed with this series and highly recommend it

The Dark-Hunter Series: Sherrilyn Kenyon; lots of adult content; a reviewer recommended this series to me and I couldn't be more thankful. This is a HUGE series with over 20 books now; loved everyone of them though few seemed like short stories instead of full novels but regardless, still good. Crazy hot men in every book.

Argeneau Vampire Series: Lynsay Sands; A Quick Bite, Love Bites, Single White Vampire, Tall, Dark and Hungry, A Bite to Remember, etc., etc.,; series deals with the Argeneaus, each book is about a different family member; very interesting take on how vampires came into existence

Undead Series: MaryJanice Davidson; loved all the books; Betsy is hilarious and the books are a quick and easy read; I seriously laughed out loud many times while reading the trials and tribulations of poor Betsy learning how to be queen of the vampires

Anita Blake: Vampire Huntress: These books are fantastic!! They are found in the horror section and there is a ton of gore. If you are faint of heart, do not read. Very graphic murder scenes. Loved every book and am anxiously awaiting the release of Bullet.
