I love all things Twilight and cannot get enough of the fanfic. I was definitely one of those that said I would never read some stupid book about vampires...and years later here we are. By the time I started reading, all four books were out and like a maniac I ignored the outside world and finished all four in a week. Unlike many, I didn't hate Breaking Dawn...what I did hate was repeating that god awful name, you all know what I'm talking about (!!Renesmee!!) over and over in my head. Seriously, what editor let Stephenie Meyer give E and B's child that name? It baffles me that no one managed to veto that shit.

I mostly stick with the AH stories and am always looking for good recs. I like most settings/types of stories and can usually suspend my disbelief and just go with it, except for when an author completely ignores reality. For example, Edward cannot be a 'well respected' surgeon of any kind in his twenties unless he's Doogie Howser- 4 years of college 4 years of med school 4 years of training (internship/residency/fellowship) does not equal a seasoned, well known 26 year old surgeon. In that same vein, if Bella is going to be an attorney in the good ole US of A, she must actually attend law school and pass her state bar. I'm not expecting extensive research on a story (though I do appreciate it), this is fanfic after all, just make your story plausible.

On the movies, I loved Twilight and Eclipse...New Moon was okay, but way too much Jacob. Breaking Dawn Part I was just not good. Between the terrible makeup/hairdos of the main cast and the awful CGI talking werewolves, I was very disappointed. Obviously, I'm Team Edward. Robert Pattinson is the perfect Edward in my mind and the hottest man on my planet. He and Kristen Stewart make a great E/B to me and I love watching them!

I'm very ashamed to admit this but here goes...my dog is Team Jacob. I know, I know, how could I let this happen you ask? Well, she feels like they're family both being k-9s and all...plus on more than one occasion her and my husband have brought it to my attention that "my boyfriend" as I call him...would probably want to eat her.

I occasionally dabble in other fandoms (Gossip Girl and Sons of Anarchy anyone??), but never seriously until I watched seasons 1 and 2 of Downton Abbey a few weeks ago in one weekend. I cannot say enough about this show. It is exceptional and as I'm want to do, I've become totally obsessed with finding good Matthew/Mary fics. The wait for season 3 is just too much for me! On a side note, I never thought any man, barring Henry Cavill, could rival my devotion for Robert Pattinson, but Matthew Crawley is making a run for the title!

UPDATE 7/25/14: I promise I'm not giving up on The Pull- I'm sorry it's taking so long to get an update out, but rest assured one is in the works and coming your way as soon as I can get it together! I apologize for the ridic wait but I just got done with a not so fun pregnancy and now I've got a newborn so that's the hold up.
