I'm English and, after 40 odd years living in London, am now back living in the South West of England, where I was born and raised. Loved London, but I'm too old and decrepit to deal with the heat, the crowds, the traffic or the noise anymore. Love my life here - happily single, singing in a choir and hanging out with the wrinklies in a 400 year old pub in a small town on the edge of the Cotswolds.

My writing mojo seems to have deserted me, so I haven't produced anything for several years now, and I'm not really involved in the fandom anymore. I will leave my stories up here, but I'm not sure if I'll ever add to them ... but never say never, eh?

Sadly, I can no longer afford to keep this going, so I'm afraid you will no longer be able to look at all the pictures I posted there. It was a lot of hard work to set it up, but finances are too tight these days to continue, especially as I'm not writing anymore. The lovely Midnight Cougar set up a group for my stories on Facebook, Fiction & Fluffery, where you will find lots of pics and visuals, plus audio teasers and random information - sadly, I had to change it from 'closed' to 'secret' because of spamming and trolling, so you have to friend me first and then ask for an invitation.

Should the unthinkable happen, and any of my stories are removed for whatever reason, you should be able to find them on TWCS.

GLOSSARY OF SLANG AND OTHER ENGLISH WORDS & PHRASES (as used in Wild Child)

Word or Phrase - Meaning

Bellend – The head of a penis
Bollocks – Literally means men’s testicles (old Anglo-Saxon word dating back to the 1st millennium). Used as a swear word, as in: “Oh, bollocks”, or as a profane version of ‘rubbish’, as in: “What a load of bollocks”
Dog’s bollocks, Look like the – Look fantastic
Doolally – Mad, crazy
Doughnut – [When used as a term of abuse] Stupid person, fool
Fanny – Vagina
Got the builders in – Having one’s period
Knackered – Exhausted
Knackers – Testicles (as in bollocks)
Lav - Lavatory (toilet)
Lobbie/Lobz - Derived from lob, as in lazy lob, meaning semi-erection
Loo - Toilet
Minge – Vagina
Minger – [Rhymes with ringer] Term of friendly abuse, usually referring to or directed at females
Nads – Testicles (as in bollocks); short for gonads [are you seeing a theme here?]
Oxbridge – Collective reference to Oxford and Cambridge colleges
Pillock – Term of abuse, as in 'you pillock', meaning 'you idiot'
Pony, Load of old – [Cockney rhyming slang] pony & trap = crap
Pooshanks - General term indicating annoyance or that something is a bit rubbish; a milder form of bollocks
School term – Semester
Spiffing – Brilliant
Trollop - A nicer class of slut
Twonk - Idiot
Welly boots/wellies – Wellington boots – galoshes
Wobbler, Throwing a – Going a bit crazy
