I really liked this story until the constant derogatory comments about law enforcement. Totally put me off it.

Wow. I just read two epilogue s, not one, but TWO epilogue s and I'm not nauseated. Well written. In spite of a long and deep seated aversion to cursing in general, I really loved this story. I burned right through it.

The only disconnect is that one point he apologizes for his language and self edits bc of ness, next he's cursing all over.

Gah! Feels like I just used a Netti Pot on my tear ducts. Little Bell and Rose surprised me also. How can you fall in love with a 4yo you've never met because she doesn't exist.
You brought Nessie to life in a way she never truly was in the originals. And gave her a better nickname. Rose is so much deeper also. I have become very sedentary lately because I don't want to leave your world. I HAVE to know what happens.

Dang. This chapter is just too happy for this early in the story. With another 19 chapters to go, i'm just sure it's all going to go south again.

Btw, I know you posted this a full decade ago but I felt you should know that you got one of the song titles wrong. Searched in vain for basic shapes by xx before figuring out it must be basic space. Loving your story. Loving the music also.

Wow. That scene on the beach. I thought, "I'm not even a lawyer but i'm pretty sure he just messed up his ability to be her lawyer". Really intrigued where this is all going.
