Characters

Without further ado, here is information about all my characters: Mana, Rei, and Kuri Hikawa, as well as Kiana Ofuda. As for photos of my ocs, look up “Hitomiko” from Inuyasha, and that is what Kuri looks like. Rei looks like “Star Guardian Ahri” from League of legends. Mana looks like “Mana” from Mermaid Saga. Kiana, Kuri’s rival who will appear later, looks like “Krystal Sparks”, a little known Christian Rocker from the 90s.

Mana

Mana has shoulder length ebony hair, fathomless dark eyes, pale skin, and scales adorning her arms and legs; and for this reason she wears long sleeves and pants. She is often described as exceedingly beautiful, but Kuri describes her as “a porcelain doll” mostly due to her cold demeanor. Mana was born on October 28, 1977, to the illustrious miko family Hikawa on her mother Atsuko’s side, as well as the Ningyo family on her father Milo’s side. Milo was a merman given human form, and an immortal. When Mana was born, it was unknown as to whether she would be human or mermaid. She ended up having scales on her legs, and the ability to transform in water if she so desired. Her immortality was limited: she could only become immortal if she gave herself over to her mermaid side forever. Mana was born with the power of telekinesis. She was raised as a miko by her mother Atsuko until her death. Her powers did not advance until they were unsealed properly. Her teacher is Kaori, her grandmother, who offered to help her with her powers in lieu of the fact that she had no proper Wiccan parentage. Her son, Okami, becomes the next King of Hell. Mana was considered the strongest of mikos due to her remarkable active power of telekinesis. Her main talent was that of potion making, perhaps due to her aquatic nature. Her Wiccan powers gradually evolved: Telekinesis, Astral Projection, and Projection. Besides this, Mana possesses the basic powers of a Witch: the ability to cast spells, brew potions (which is her speciality), scry for lost objects and people, and divine for pieces of information. Mana worked as a successful owner of the occult shop, ‘The Red Dress’ where she fostered ironic sales with her partner Kiba Inuzuka. Despite her formidable powers and sharp intellect, Mana was tragically murdered, in her own home by the Source of All Evil's personal assassin, Shax, which temporarily severed The Omamori altogether. For years, her sisters thought that she was living happily in the afterlife with their mother and grandmother, though they were eventually told that Mana had not died, but been revived as a vicious bloodthirsty creature in a botched ceremony. Kiba had found her and tamed her, saving her humanity. After Mana’s disappearance, Atsuko gave Shippo the task of finding her. Shippo eventually discovered that Mana had survived, and taken the identity of Kirsten. As Kirsten, Mana lived in Salem, Massachusetts and runs "Salem Witch House", a tourist attraction, with Kiba Inuzuka as her husband. Though Mana initially chose to keep her distance from her sisters out of fear of the cataclysmic consequences, she eventually decided to return to San Francisco when her youngest sister, Kiana Ofuda, arrived in search of a candidate for Magic School who worked at "Salem Witch House", and was happily reunited with Reiko and Kuri. Mana revealed to them that she had a young son, Okami, and the two were overjoyed.

Reiko

Reiko has long red hair in a high ponytail, green eyes, freckles and fox whiskers. Rei was born on July 21, 1980, to the illustrious miko family Hikawa on her mother Atsuko’s side, as well as the Minamino family on her father Soichiro’s side. At her conception, the six-tailed fox Reiko Kurama sealed herself within the unborn Rei Hikawa, creating the half demon. Due to this, Rei had powers of illusion, disguise, and nature manipulation, all from her kitsune self. She was raised as a miko by her mother Atsuko until her death. Her powers did not advance until they were unsealed properly. Her teacher is Kaori, her grandmother, who offered to help her with her powers in lieu of the fact that she had no proper Wiccan parentage. Her posthumous son with Yoko, Shippo, later becomes a Cupid. Her first true child, Kai, becomes the successor to the Ultimate Power and is an Archai. Her second child, Hiro, is a Seer. Her youngest, Kisa developed the power of Orbic Mastery. Reiko felt inferior to her kitsune half at times because for a long time she didn’t have any power of her own. But when she did develop power it was the strongest of all of her sisters: Molecular Immobilization, Molecular Combustion, and Molecular Acceleration. Besides this, Mana possesses the basic powers of a Witch: the ability to cast spells, brew potions, scry for lost objects and people, and divine for pieces of information. Rei works as a chef in her own restaurant, which she named Hikawa’s, a nod to her family. She opened the restaurant in after closing down her nightclub, P3.

Kuri

Kuri has long ebony hair and bright blue eyes. Her skin is caramel colored and she highly resembles her mother Atsuko. Kuri was born on January 1, 1982, to the illustrious miko family Hikawa on her mother Atsuko’s side, as well as the wealthy Suoh family on her father Yuzuro’s side. Her Grandmother, head of the Suoh family, regarded her as a bastard child of a prostitute and a stain on the family name. She forbade Yuzuro to have any contact with his child or mistress. However Atsuko extorted money from the Suoh family with the threat of leaking her relationship to Yuzuro. In her lifetime, Kuri had been a you miko, her soul eventually being purified in its half demon state as a high priestess. When she had just been conceived, her mother was called upon by Kaori to undergo a ritual to purify a yurei named Sadako. This yurei vowed revenge for the attempted purification, and she possessed Kuri’s unborn body, becoming another personality, that surfaced when she was weak. Kuri was born with the power of premonition. She was raised as a miko by her mother Atsuko until her death. Her powers did not advance until they were unsealed properly. Her teacher is Kaori, her grandmother, who offered to help her with her powers in lieu of the fact that she had no proper Wiccan parentage. Her posthumous daughter with Inuyasha, Ninako, later becomes Death’s successor. Her first true child, Jiro, becomes the successor to the Twice Blessed Prophecy along with his youngest sister Nami. Amara, her second oldest, is the eldest of the new Omamori. In later life, she becomes High Priestess. Kuri was often considered a very weak miko by demons due to her primary powers being more inclined to be passive than active. However, she consistently proved them wrong with her formidable martial-arts skills and her remarkable spell-casting talent. Her Wiccan powers gradually evolved, coming to include dangerously offensive aspects that could match those of her sisters: Premonition, Levitation, Empathy, and Telekinesis. Besides this, Kuri possesses the basic powers of a Witch: the ability to cast spells (which is her specialty), brew potions, scry for lost objects and people, and divine for pieces of information. Kuri later becomes a High Priestess, returning to the Isle of Skye with her family.

Sadako

Sadako has dark hair that falls to her feet. Her eyes are fathomless black holes in her face, and her skin is sickly pale. Her human form is a young woman with wavy black hair, pale skin and brown eyes. A vengeful spirit called an onryo, a subspecies of Yurei. Sadako was once a little girl who was scorned for her power of nensha and curse, ostracized by her peers, raped, and sealed in a well. Her spirit began to attack a small mountain town in Hokkaido, near Kaori’s shrine, and Kaori contained her spirit and fed it to her pregnant daughter Atsuko for purification, causing her to become a parasatic part of the miko Kuri Hikawa. Sadako possesses the power of nensha, the ability to project images, into the mind of a victim, or onto paper or digital media. She also possesses the power of Curse. She uses her power creatively on her victims, giving them a curse that resembles their worse fear usually, though she has a sick sense of humor. She has very few friends or lovers, though has notably worked with Zorc Necrophades, and was the lover of Naraku. She passed on her powers in her final curse to her vessels youngest daughter, Nami, hoping to solidify her death causing the worlds destruction, as Nami was the Key to the Ultimate Power. This was her planned vengeance, thwarted after her death when she was finally purified.

Kiana

Kiana has long blonde hair, bright blue eyes, and pale skin. She has the appearance of light itself. Kiana was born on August 2, 1984, to the illustrious miko family Hikawa on her mother Atsuko’s side, as well as the angel Sachiel. Because she was born to a miko and her guardian angel, and this was at the time taboo, Kiana was taken as an infant to a nearby church and put in the care of a nun, with the only request that her name begin with a K. Her powers first surfaced when as a teenager her adoptive parents were in an accident and she was in the car as well. She should have died, but she orbed herself out of the car, saving her life. However, she had no idea that this is what happened, and remained ignorant of her abilities. She remained in denial of the death, and, due to her powers, was caught in a time loop, all the time trying to escape the clutches of a vengeful ghost. The Winchesters happened upon her, and were able to pull her out of the loop, causing her to accept that her parents were dead. This sent her on the journey that lead her to her grieving sisters. When she found them, she gained a family and powers, and a whole slew of problems. But the sisters protected her and she was finally home. It was only later that she discovered that she could hear angel radio and was admitted into an insane asylum as angels and demons tried to get their hands on her. In the end she was well protected and accepted her angelic heritage. Her first child, Ryo becomes the successor to the Ultimate Power. Naohito, her second son, has power over molecules, his specialty is photons. Amu, her youngest, is an empath. Kiana’s powers are all from her angel part: Telekinetic Orbing, Orbing, Healing, and the ability to generate an Orb Shield. Besides this, Kiana possesses the basic powers of a Witch: the ability to cast spells, brew potions, scry for lost objects and people, and divine for pieces of information. Besides her duties as a Omamori, Kiana is a full-time Angel, and works as a recruiter for Magic School.

Ava

Ava has short wavy brown hair, medium tone skin and brown eyes. Ava Nicolae was born on May 21 1977. She is a Gypsy Shuvani, the equivalent of a Wiccan high priestess. She is the daughter of Marina, niece of Lydia and a distant relative of Teresa, all of whom were Shuvanis as well. She is the last of a powerful clan of Gypsies. Marina, her mother, was married to a sprite, and Ava is one half sprite. But due to the Elder’s meddling, her fairy blood is in appearance pure and her powers untainted, giving her the power of a Shuvani and a Sprite. After the Artemis Fowl incident, Ava lives an undercover life on the surface, trying to learn about her human ancestry. Like her cousins, the Hikawas, Ava lost her mother at a young age. Her mother died of cancer, and Ava felt she should have gotten chemotherapy rather than rely exclusively on gypsy magic. As a result, she rejected her heritage and started working at San Francisco Memorial Hospital as a surgeon. When Teresa was hunted down by the Gypsy Hunter Cree, the son of Orin, who had been blinded by her family several years earlier, her aunt Lydia tried to warn Ava, but she refused to believe a single word even after Reiko and Kuri tried to talk to her. After seeing a bad omen, her aunt tried to save Ava by confronting Cree, but he was prepared for her attack and killed her. Her aunt's spirit then visited Ava when she was trying to revive a patient and gave her a warning, leading her to finally embrace her heritage. Ava vanquished Orin with the help of Mana and Kiana by using the "To Call Upon Our Ancestors" spell, which the sisters previously used to vanquish Lucifer. She replaced the names in the spell with the names of Lydia, Teresa and Marina. The spell worked and the spirits reflected Orin's blast, vanquishing him. Ava was stunned by the experience; she felt Marina's presence in the attic when she summoned her with the spell. After helping vanquish Orin, she set up a free medical clinic for Gypsies without medical insurance, while also continuing her work at San Francisco Memorial. Ava serves as Reiko's medical practitioner during her pregnancy with Kai as repayment for helping her become more in touch with her Gypsy heritage and vanquishing Orin. She also taught Kuri and Kiana to be Reiko’s midwives during her labor. Ava possesses the power of Blessing or Enchantment, accessible through her fairy magic.

Billie

Billie has short blonde hair and bright green eyes and freckles. Billie was born to Carl and Helen Jenkins on June 20, 1977. As a child, she maintained a healthy relationship with her cousin, Ava. However, Billie witnessed her sister get brutally kidnapped by Artemis Fowl. Since this event, her parents never spoke of Ava or the incident ever again, as they thought that it was what was best for Billie. Billie's mother told her that she and her cousin inherited magic from their grandmother, Kaori’s sister Kiri. Billie became a hardened witch because of the incident with Artemis, and her bond with her cousin Ava only grew stronger, a bond through magic and blood similar to the Hikawas, and set things in motion for the two sets of witches to stand against each other. Billie has the power of Conjuring, accentuated by Ava’s power of Enchantment, to give them exceedingly good fortune/luck, and to enchant their weapons, making them a formidable foe.

“A Touch of Healing” is my name for my latest set of works in each fandom, all starting in the hospital with a priestess preforming a healing. I know what all of you wanna know—when am I gonna update? (Especially Evanescence) Whelp please be patient; between corona, radiation and chemo it takes about two weeks to drum out a new chapter for each one. But I post as I write and sometimes I get a rush of inspiration.
