Name update: I have changed my username from kazeko-chan to tucuxia, effective 4/14/18. For anyone who has been following me for a while, you may have to update your bookmark to my profile, but links to my stories will not be affected. I feel a much stronger connection to this username and it identifies me on many other websites, so I thought it was time to adopt it here.

Currently: Working on The Last Sacrifice. Only 2 chapters to go. Title changed to include "The End of the Silver Millennium" since character limits 13 years ago did not allow the full title. Updating the first 34 chapters to add dates (S.Y.) and to fix minor continuity errors and scenes that needed to be a little stronger or more fleshed out. These are minor changes, so no re-reading is necessary. All chapter dates are below for reference. Rewrite complete. Final fic will be 300k words and 37 chapters.

Next: Will be rewriting Kazeko and tagging it as Part II of The Last Sacrifice (moderate/major rewrite but all plot elements should remain the same; will not be as massive an overhaul as TLS:ESM). Possibly finishing 1 Inuyasha fanfic and finishing/publishing my Sailor Moon/Inuyasha crossover fic (Haruka/Michiru, Rei/Minako, Makoto/Ami, Setsuna/Q.Serenity, Usagi/Mamoru, Sesshoumaru/Kagome)

I've written a lot of fics over the years, some with a pen in notebooks, and many of them have to be copied onto the computer. It's tedious and there are times I don't feel like doing it. I'm going to post my Inuyasha/Sailor Moon crossover soon, as well as my Captain Planet fics and my new Buffy one. I'm a little stuck on certain fics like "Haiku", and I'm not sure where to go with "Colors of the Wind". Similarly, I know basically where I want "A Child of Darkness and Light" and "Live Like You Were Dying" are supposed to end, but I've hit a little bridge that I want to rush through. I also have a few more Inuyasha fics floating around on my computer and I'm not sure I want to post them until they're finished so I don't leave anyone hanging for too long.

At some point, my Sailor Moon 'verse got so huge that I lose details, forget some important history I meant to put in a certain fic, and each new chapter requires re-reading three or four other fics to keep the continuity. The Chronicles of the Star Senshi set is like that, not to mention that I have CSS2 written in a journal in my room somewhere. I am trying to finish some of my older fics and bring them up to date, revising them to fit more of my new writing style. Also I read through "Kazeko" and found a few discrepancies with "A Child of Darkness and Light" that I either have to iron out or re-write. Since ACDaL is supposed to be the set-in-stone history of the senshi and the Silver Millennium, what's written there has to be perfect even if characters remember it incorrectly or not at all in later stories. Self-induced amnesia may be the answer. If you read one of my fics and you notice a problem, please let me know. I don't have a beta reader and I don't know if any of the authors I would trust would have time. As such, I am very meticulous and I try not to make mistakes, but there may be one or two.

So I basically stopped writing for the last few years, mostly because I became frustrated with my older writing style and could not decide how to fix my early stories to fit my newer ones. In the end, I have decided to overhaul some and completely re-write others so that I can continue my Sailor Moon universe. To that extent, "The Last Sacrifice" has been deleted from the site and I have started it again. The new fic will be much longer, feel like my newer stories, and give more attention to all of the senshi and not just Uranus and Neptune. As much as I love that pair, focusing only on them made the story flat and too fast. I hope everyone is not disappointed that I removed all of the old fic but I am moving along with the rewrite at a high speed so it should be complete again shortly.

The Last Sacrifice: The End of the Silver Millennium notes:

I have recently gone back through every chapter and added dates (based on the Silver Millennium Standard Calendar). The Silver Millennium is 10,000 years old, but the current calendar starts from the day each of the first senshi avatars were born (the ones that are children of the patron gods, not just the original ones who were children of Serenity, Tranquility, and Se). Therefore, the very first senshi were all born in 1017 B.U. (Before Unification) and Haruka was born in 8962 S.Y. (Silver Millennium Standard Year). The senshi were all born on the same date as their human counterparts for simplicity's sake. Since the gods originated on Earth and since the Moon is the center of the Silver Millennium, all planets use a standard Earth-based calendar. It would be too complicated if they each had their own calendar based on the rotations and revolutions of the individual planets. The story spans 21 years and the breakdown and chapter dates are below. I decided to post the date information here since this is my most popular and longest fanfic (it's almost as long as all of my other canon SM put together). For anyone reading this story, the list below is correct: there are only 2 chapters left!
