Author has written 27 stories for Titanic, Fruits Basket, Sailor Moon, Redwall, Yu-Gi-Oh, Torchwood, Harry Potter, Merlin, Being Human, X-Men, and Twilight. I am an accredited beta reader for Harry Potter and Sailor Moon at Perfect Imagination Beta Reader Directory. Visit my beta reader profile and see if I can help you. I'm 19, female, and have been on this site (in my alter-ego as Iluvbeyblade) since 2005, and writing fanfics since October 2004. Call me Maz. I update multi-chapters when Dementors turn pink, ie, in a fluffy alternate universe where plot bunnies rule and real life doesn't exist. Expect oneshots. I might come back and blether some more later. I like ... many things. Almost everything, in fact, as long as I consider it IC and reasonably well-written. All genres, too. Fandoms, a probably not exhaustive list that is sort of in order and sort of not: Merlin Sailor Moon X-Men Harry Potter Yu-Gi-Oh HP-YGO crossovers. Fruits Basket Doctor Who Torchwood Hetalia Pokemon (generally not anime-fic, though) Being Human Discworld In terms of fic, as noted above, I will, on the whole, only produce oneshots. Multi-chapters tend to involve a longer attention-span and more motvation than I possess. Said output will generally be either angsty, humourous, romantic, or some weird combination of all three. Because it's easy and I'm lazy. I use too many elaborate dialogue tags and far, far too many adjectives. I prefer dialogue to description, unless it's description of emotion or description of an area that is in some way plot relevant. I hate writing in 1st person PoV. Why? Simply because whenever I try, every single character just sounds like me on drugs. Wouldn't want to subject you to that, really I wouldn't. Generally, I write in third-person limited, because I find it a challenge not to drop into omniscient, and in some cases I quite like challenges. xD Everything on my favourites list is there because it is epically amazing and you should read it NOW. |
