I'm hoping Hotaru plays a more prevalent part than just patch up, even if it's not as saturn.

The Primordials. Well played. it's something I plan to incorporate in one of my own future stories, though it will definitely take a different form.

I'm calling it: Princess Rose and Queen Moros are one and the same. My head canon is that Rose is actually Chibiusa's daughter. Even though the crystal flower Rose used in this prologue isn't detailed, I think it's the Silver Crystal (or the Pink Moon Crystal, since you're following the manga canon). That's why Rose said "Mama...?", since she recognized the crystal her mother used.

As for how she's Moros, I'd seen the fan art Mangaka-chan did for this story (which is what led me here) and noticed that Moros had an odango hairstyle. After reading this prologue and reading the chapter where Moros first appeared, I went back to the fan art and noticed Moros had lavender petals (of a rose, I presume) clutched in her hand with other petals fluttering around her. What struck me odd about those petals were that the edges were black, as if they were burnt, like what happened to the roses in this prologue. In the fan art, Moros is the only one facing away from everything and looking into the distance. I took that to mean she was looking back on her past, and since she's holding on to the petals, I believe she's holding on to her former identity as Princess Rose.

In later chapters, Petalite is describing Moros as her benevolent savior and while she's discussing her past to Aether (or Hypnos, I can't remember), she said her "great Queen Moros rose from the ashes". ROSE from the ASHES? It made me think back to the prologue which so happens to be titled "The Ashes of Roses". What a sneaky way to make your readers draw a connection. My current theory is that Erebus took Princess Rose to past where she built her empire and grew into the Moirae Queen we know now.

In the Stars arc of the manga, Sailor Tin Nyanko attacks Luna, Artemis, and Diana, damaging their foreheads and erasing their crescent symbols in the progress. In the beginning of this prologue, Princess Rose had a gash on her forehead, presumably erasing her crescent symbol. That way, no one would be able to connect her to the White Moon Royal Family when she's Queen Moros.

As for why she wants Sailor Moon dead, I believe that her mother never told her about the legendary soldier, therefore she has no idea that the soldier she wants dead is actually her mother.

..Wow... Just... Just wow... Usagi really earned her super Senshi transformation after everything. I have a feeling that the four figures who leant their power to Sailor Moon are her version of the Outer Senshi.

Poor Calomel and Pyrolusite... How on Earth is Petalite going to take this? She just lost all her children...

You mean to tell me that Chino was cheating on his girlfriend with her BEST FRIEND while she was abducted by the Moirae?! She better give them a piece of her mind! *Takes a deep breath* When it's revealed that Sailor Moon DOES exist, Kai and Chino better be spitting apologies!

I feel like Seresu is foreshadowing something when she's talking about Helios and Pegasus Kamen dueling for Usagi's heart.

...Calomel and Pyrolusite are gonna die, aren't they?

The more I see of Aether and Hypnos, the more I believe they're double agents.

That's the closest Usagi's been to Pyrolusite and Calomel without either of them trying to kill her.

Yay! Usagi and Hotaru made up! This whole chapter was amazing and I'm so happy that the Quartet are FINALLY being recognized as the queen's Senshi.

...You mean to tell me that Calomel and Pyrolusite couldn't think of a connection between Sailor MOON and the White MOON royal family? *facepalms*

I really felt for Miruki there. She should've brought up the crescent symbol and the rabbit-odango hairstyle. But when the truth is revealed, they're all gonna feel like idiots.

It's kinda sad that no one knows Neo-Queen Serenity was the invincible soldier who saved the galaxy. But wouldn't they have figured it out by the royal crescent symbol on her forehead? Souga-san knew who Sailor Moon was by her crescent symbol. Couldn't she have made the connection between Sailor Moon and the royal family?

And during the Black Moon arc, the kids that were bullying Chibiusa mocked her for not having Senshi powers like her mother used to. Did the people really forget that easily about their queen's past as a Senshi?

Why would that girl think Sailor Moon is just a myth? Don't they know Neo-Queen Serenity used to be her?

Yay! Juno is active! Hope she meets up with the others too!
