Hell yeah, Ponies!

(Snicker.) I have a couple of rather long, but incomplete (and now dormant for quite a while) fics that I'll be posting up after checking them over for things that will cause formatting issues, but in the meantime I'll add a few oneshots. Just to reassure anyone who is NOT down with the ponies, no, none of these but "So I Herd U Liek Ponies" involves them at all.

I'll be starting to upload the long stories next - I'll probably do them one chapter at a time every day or two, since those tend to be longer than many complete fics, and each have a complete narrative episode, since I consider that the proper definition of "chapter."

OKAY! I've started in on the Legend of Explosive Youth, and added the second part as well since the first is really just an intro. I'll add another daily (mostly) until I've run through all the complete ones (which will be fifteen) and then start on Bubblegum Disaster (which also ended up having fifteen parts ready to go.) As a warning, even when I was "active" in getting new stuff written on these I seldom put out more than one chapter every few months, so once the backlog is cleared it's going to be a long dry spell at best.

With the existing LoXY! material posted, I've decided to wait until the beginning of November to put up BDis. It's not apt to draw a lot of attention anyway, realistically, since even in its heyday BGC wasn't anywhere near as big as Naruto, and the Ranma aspects are both very secondary and involve only minor characters; and too, the height of Ranma fandom was early-to-mid-90s as well. Mainly, Bubblegum Disaster is my mark of stubbornness, the first major fics I read were the Undocumented Features core stories and they suggested that aspiring newcomers instead come up with their own mix rather than fit into theirs. So I did, based on a FASERIP Marvel Superheros RPG character I'd made up as SI. And it sucked. And I did a different variation. And it sucked. And after a few more tries, having piped the super-Venom-Warmachine-Nightwatch suit through a half dozen different versions, this version with the alien, AI Guardian 215 came into being. I believe the date I fished out of the previous-previous-previous boat-anchored computer was January 18, 1991, meaning that as of this coming year Niichigo will be of legal drinking age. (It might have been 1992, or February, or even further off - my memory sucks.) Even so, and despite my really spotty record at working on it, I refuse to give up on the story after spending so very much time on it. The only way Bubblegum disaster will die for good, is when I do.

"Damn it," the small, blond boy mumbled, kicking at a handy tuft of grass. He been chased away when he tried to attend the festival celebrating the tenth anniversary of the Kyuubi's death, and on his own birthday no less. Most people were kind of mean if they didn't out right ignore him, but he'd hoped they'd be in a better mood since the celebration was so much bigger this year. "I wish I had someone to have a party with me."

"I'll have a party with you!" a high pitched voice exclaimed, RIGHT BEHIND HIM. Naruto yelped and spun around, already crouching to run if it was more of the odler kids who'd been throwing stuff while they chased him.

Instead, it was a little, pale pink pony, with brighter hair, and huge eyes in a happy squint that matched the wide grin. "I'm Pinkie Pie, and I'm sure we'll be great friends!"

and go wild! Is Pinkie dimension hopping with her In-Need-of-a-Party sense? Is Naruto one of her imaginary freinds, and she his? Did he find a pony summoning contract somewhere? I don't know, but I'd love to find out.
