Technically it probably would still be suicide since they’d have to ask Xander for their deaths, but I see where you’re coming from. Also, was the T-1000 really inherently so flawed? It didn’t start malfunctioning until after the liquid nitrogen incident. Here’s another question, if he can summon Sarutobi, a Kage, without having to sacrifice a land, what benefits does he get for summoning a Sage at that cost? Last question, just how much mana can Xander get just from driving around? Presumably they covered a decent distance, and different stretches of beach are likely to have their own kind of identity based on the visitors, so I think I get it, but I really want him to drive through the Rockies and see how much red mana he can get.

I definitely love the OP character. I hope he enjoys himself and stocks up on mana there.
If he ever goes Sailor Moon again I hope he touches all of them and learns how to time lock his change to a Planeswalker. I'd hate for some stuffy godling to try and rewind things. Also, if he goes Marvel I hope he shakes Quicksilver's hand first so he can touch all kinds of people before they know it. Flash for DCU. heh.

They are so far ahead of the curve the T-1000 doesn’t even know they’re on the same road. This is amazing and should be a much quicker and easier fix than the Elemental Nations. I’d love to see Xander really start reality hopping and being the force for Good and Chaos that he is. And road tripping while they escape and plot is gonna be amazing for his mana pool now that he can grab them on the fly. Though traveling east from SoCal along the border means mainly desert, which is Red I believe, for a while, but for artifacts that doesn’t really matter. Quantity has a quality all its own in this case.

I probably would have gone with Minato over Hiruzen, but given Minato is much more powerful there is no way he'd only cost six mana. Hiruzen might be considered god of Shinobi, but even he considered Minato to be beyond him.

I almost feel sorry for the T-1000 if it comes face to face with Ryu. There is no coming out of that fight intact even if the old man doesn't have his Summons.

Resurrecting some people would be wrong, but there are others that it wouldn't be like Kurt Cobain. After all if you ascribe to suicide being a ticket to a bad afterlife, it's not wrong to yank him out

Yeah, I hope for John's sake that he doesn't hold onto the idea of pulling anyone from the afterlife just for fun. Even if they let the Terminator handle the return policy, John would probably have to do more than just save humanity to make up for the cost of getting a good spot in the afterlife. Funny how karma works...

Heh, makes me wonder how others might respond to discovering that some one like Xander made knowledge of a card game into tactically advantageous information. Never mind the odd thought of Skynet trying to figure out the importance of Magic the Gathering to the Resistance.

In the far future they will tell tales of the sage's son John and how their group saved the world (cause time and history loss will make the fact that it was only a "son" by chakra transfer/adoption forgotten) and how the sage spread chakra etc etc.
Cause a restored "Sarutobi" but without the man's hangups but with all his skills and kind nature? In 'this' world? Sage 2.0..in time. :xD

And unrelated to the plot but another funny thing is that once the mess is done and Sarah tries dating again, cause restored youth and an anime body? Her future boyfriend will need alot of electrolytes and time in the gym to match her stamina and drive!

Regarding the copies thing though, until the recent clusterfucks with the sequels/reboots it was heavily implied that John more or less had the "mandate of heaven"/"fate" by his side. Will the copies also have that 'gift'? If so great otherwise..Skynet likes to play it smart..

I like to see clear gains for each reality he travels to. Getting the terminator t800 template alone was probably worth it.
