Thing is... cars are quite known to the magical world... even modern ones. To think otherwise is to ignore book two, three, the knight bus and other littler things like that. Most of the magical world may think such things odd but at least the MoM does know it better... they have cars and drivers for those in their employment.
Not sure how much of the modern world is known to the magical world but I think at least some of those oddities that are shown in canon are a result of some people uninformed...

I have absolutely no idea how I found this story, have never heard of the other half of the cross over before and I loved every bit of it. I’ve got something like 90 tabs open at the moment so I have more than a few other stories to catch up on first but I’ll be coming back to check out more of your work soon thank you so much for sharing this :)

Heh. Okay, i had figured out Lady Ako awhile back, but the Sidhe getting involved was a pleasant surprise.

it was all right. You made Harry an irredeemable Mary Sue and you idealized the normal world to the nth degree, but it was all right. also, every other sentence does not need to end with an exclamation point. Show, don't tell.

Excellent story! Loved all of the tie-ins to racing and other realms of magic/fantasy. Glad to see that Harry had a responsible family watching out for him. I like the characters you created and the dynamic they expressed. Great job with the twist on Dumbledore (The Other Dark Wizard tm). I like how you tied all that together logically and with reasonable adherence to the canon. Also enjoyed the fight in the graveyard and its aftermath. Glad to see old Tom tortured before his eventually loss into nothingness. Couldn't happen to a nicer person. Also enjoyed the pink snail and the appearance of a Doolittle. Great job!

Loved your description of the house elves. That last bit about them being called gremlins was hilarious! Great job!
