I wrote my first fanfiction when I was 12. It was absolutely awful, riddled with spelling/grammar errors and I have long since removed it from this website but it stands for something very important. The feedback I recieved on that fanfiction was what kept me writing and it has turned me into the writer I am today. My writing isn't perfect, but it's a fair sight better than the makings of twelve-year me.

I don't write fanfiction often now, I adore this website and what people do on it but as well as being busy with work I spend a lot of time working on original pieces. I do upload here very occasionally, and I'll often have something I'm working on for however consistent updates aren't something I'll ever promise.

Current story:

Syzygy: Robin, Vlad and Jonno reunite in Stokely, all much changed from who they were eight years previous. Trapped in the corrupted castle the vampire, breather and slayer must come to terms with who they have all become, and more importantly... They need to survive.

I have more plans for Syzygy than just the one story, I intend to slowly build up a number of connected one shots set in my interpretation of the YD universe's future. Hopefully I'll be able to make it so a few of them can be read independently and they'll probably be released very occasionally over a long period of time. I've already got a few stories in mind, though I doubt any of them will be as long as Syzygy.
