Honestly this fic is a gift and you are a god for giving it to us.

I first read this story just after it was completed. It took my breath away, it delighted me, and it made an incredible impact in my memory. Because, frankly, it's the perfect fic! It's full of my favorite tropes, always in-character, written in a way that fits exactly with the show, and so very creative.

I didn't reread it for a while and then, through some terrible twists of events, I lost the fic. Bookmark gone, no exact memory of title or author, or even which website I had found it on. Periodically something would remind me of the story, and I would be delighted all over again, but whenever I tried to find it I had no luck. I've spent literally like 3 years looking for this fic again, and - FINALLY - today I came across it again!

Obviously I immediately reread it. There was much giggling and little screams of delight lol. And if anything, this time reading through just reaffirmed that this story is flawless and essentially one of my all-time favorites. I think it's definitely the best work in this whole fandom.

So thank you thank you thank you for the opportunity to read something so well-done and truly delightful. I let it slip through my fingers once, but I can promise I'm never losing this one again!

Okay, I am just stupid crazy about this fic. I've left reviews some time ago but had to let you know again how much I enjoyed reading this. One reason for the re-reads were to fully understand what the bad guy's motive for the killings was. And, once I got away from Jenry, Jenry, Jenry (specifically, that fake kiss in the hallway that turned into a REAL kiss and the one at the end), I was able to understand the plot of the crime. Priceless. Great research, too.

Another thing: all writers, past, present, and future, who love "Forever" should continue to pump these stories out. There is still a loyal fandom out there (including me) just waiting to drink up these delightful diversions from reality like water to a dying person in the desert.

Also, this ending was love. I cannot get over how well you nailed tone and voice, like I swear you could be straight from the show's production team. This felt legit, dude. Thanks for the awesome ride. :D

Thank you for writing this story. The only thing I *needed* to see in season 2 was the continuation scene from the finale. Now I know this story also needed to be in season 2. Making Jo the fish or of water for a change was brilliant. Your characterizations of both Jo and Henry were excellent, and the story was simply fun.

Such a wonderful story, a perfect blend of mystery, romance, humor, and heroics. One of the best stories I've read on this whole site. I read a supernatural Regency romance some years ago, called The Second Lady Emily, and this really had so many elements in common with that. You really did your research!

I love your Lucas. Nice setup for the episode. Right up Henry's alley. And as a giant monster fan, I completely sympathize with Abraham's fruitless efforts. Moving on.
