Guest chapter 9 . 9/13/2012 I love you so much, I'd almost given up on this story! Spontaneus update dance! Can I mention again how fantastically you write Toby's disorientation? |
BlueRavenQuill chapter 9 . 9/5/2012 I think this is one of the longer well written stories that are on this site. I had checked out this story a while back but when I noticed that it didn't seem like you were going to update I wasn't sure whether to follow it. I'm glad I did, and just wanted to say I like the idea you have about boundary lines and the flashbacks between Ray and Toby. Looking forward to the next chapter. |
Neshomeleh chapter 9 . 9/5/2012 When I started reading this story, I thought it's quite good. Hm... Well I've written many many fanfics since I was 12 and now I'm 36 (old, I know). I never published anything and only one or two people were allowed to read them. But I'm just writing my first Royal Pains story and will hopefully upload the first chapter soon. Why do I tell you that? I guess just so you know my comment isn't meant bad in any way. I somehow like your storyline and I think you are a good writer, but for me there are just too many jumps. It's hard to explain since English is not my first language. I think there is too much happening in the chapters and too many characters - for me it is somewhat confusing... I guess like a movie that shows all sides of on story, but doesn't take the time to really go into the details. It makes me feel the characters don't really live - they don't have personality. I will continue reading this, because I do think you're good in writing and I like the storyline and if I change my mind I'm of course going to say that too! I hope you don't misunderstand me and forgive my honesty. |
lookingatstars chapter 9 . 8/18/2012 This fic is awesome! I literally can't say anything else about it |
Guest chapter 2 . 8/8/2012 Oh,Oz...funny as always! great job,they're really into character! |
Master Li chapter 9 . 8/7/2012 I'm so glad you decided to continue! I love this story and find there are so few good Listener stories out there. This one is one of my favorites and I can't wait to see where you take it. I'm glad you have decided to keep Ray in this story I have missed him in the newer seasons (the first season is still my favorite the others just don't feel the same). I hope you continue including some of the season one characters in this story! I eagerly await the next chapter, and I think I will read through all the old chapters again to get myself back into the story. |
nacimynom chapter 9 . 8/5/2012 I just found your story today and I so captivated by it that I read all nine chapters. You have so many different wonderful things going on here: the really interesting idea of Toby's difficulty separating his will from that of the people he "hears," his relationship with Olivia (to tell her or not to tell her that is the question), the whole kidnapping and shooting Andy LaPaige nightmare, Oz' great point of view (he is a true great friend and that chat with his mom was another wonderful moment), and the flashbacks to Ray and Toby's first meetings. I am really looking forward to your next chapters. |
