Introduction:

Bro is twenty-nine years old. They have multi-colored hair (they're a natural redhead with blue, green, and purple highlights). It is common knowledge among all who know them that they are rather... odd. They love to make friends and holds all of them very close to their heart. They treasure the people they love and care about above all else.

In June 2007, they graduated from an Interactive Multi-Media program at a career and technical center. As an adult in this cruel world, they have only one goal: survival (with a little bit of happiness on the side and, perhaps, a cat). If given the opportunity, they would choose a career in web/graphic or video game design. Most likely, they will not be able to scrounge up the money for college.

Bro had an unhealthy obsession with anime/manga for a very long time (over 15 years now)! Sadly, that obsession is all but non-existent (occasionally, they'll dabble in it every now and again -- re: One Punch Man, Soul Eater, and the animes they enjoyed in the past). It has been transferred onward into western fandoms (see below). :3 Thankfully, their strongest obsession has lived on (and always will), albeit, in a slightly different form. For over 15 years, they've inhaled slash / femslash fanfiction and fanart at an alarming rate. They live, breathe, eat and sleep it — this has not changed or wavered in the slightest (thought they tend towards A03 more than this site anymore), they just use a different name for it now.

Bro has been a member of Fanfiction.net since September 21st, 2002. WOW! XD Unfortunately, they've been forced to create a new account because they lost the password to their last one — as well as the email address! Now, how is this possible, you ask? Well, it's quite simple. They had created over 20 different email addresses back then (most of those were created in the first year or two of having created that account, mind you) — and of those twenty, they can only remember about six. None of them work. So they were forced to create this account. Whoops!

Currently, Bro's main fandom/s are: Homestuck. The obsession for Harry Potter still burns strong alongside Dragon Age and Mass Effect. South Park, Avengers, Deadpool (superheroes), Hannibal, Stargate: Atlantis, Overwatch, Steven Universe, Sherlock, Star Trek, and Supernatural are other fandoms they still enjoy on occasion. And perhaps Gundam Wing (1x2x1 forever!). They have watched (and own) every episode there is of SGA (and SG-1) and adore it. It's their most favorite TV show, even if they're currently most active in Homestuck (unless you count reading a countless amount of fic in the Harry Potter and Kingdom Hearts fandom as active). Speaking of Supernatural... they've officially left the fandom and it's unlikely they'll ever write for it again, though they'll never stop reading fic for it occasionally (see: in and out of Harry Potter fandom for the last 17 years). More often than not, Bro can be found roleplaying rather then writing fic.

Their obsessions are actively alternating between: Homestuck (main since 3/12/15), Harry Potter, Steven Universe, and Dragon Age. While they've yet to write a fic for Homestuck, they're actively considering attempting to write one for NaNiWriMo this year. At least once a month they bounce back to one of their main fandoms (whether it's to read fic, roleplay, or plot for fic, however, is up for debate). :)

September 3rd, 2017:
The world (or, at least, this country) has gone to hell in a handbasket. I'm somehow 29? What the actual fuck. lol. Time is getting away from me and I've yet to actively achieve anything real in my life. I was recently diagnosed with an autoimmune disease and carpal/cubital tunnel. Fantastic. Remember to rest and exercise your wrists! Don't be like me! lol. I was recently laid off due to my health (don't you just love discrimination?) so I'm currently looking for a new job... hopefully something that won't exacerbate my carpal/cubital tunnel, that would be nice. Regardless, I'm doing fairly okay. I've got some great friends, will hopefully be moving relatively soon, and my mental health is fairly decent right now. If only the rest of the country would shape up!

May 3rd, 2016:
So, it's been three years. Looks like this is gonna be a habit, huh? I'm 27 years old -- 28 in three months (I feel old) -- and while I've never left the fandom space (I never will, I can promise you that, it's been 17 years, it's not just a phase), I'm most definitely not an active participant anymore unless you count roleplaying in the Homestuck fandom (hello Cherubplay, AniRP, and MSPARP). I don't! Though... I have been considering writing a Homestuck fic, so who knows!
I've been living away from home for more than a year now (economy is tough, kids, and politics suck), and that's fun. Got a great job that lets me indulge in escapism at work! Have a fiancée, too, and she's great. I spend most of my time on Skype or Tumblr (catharticEscapism) anymore (that's where the fandom's at) and I tend to get my fic on at A03 thanks to it's gorgeous tagging system. I'll be around again, eventually!

June 23rd, 2013:
Ayup, sorry about... um, not having been around for a long while. I probably won't be writing more fanfic for an indefinite amount of time. That is to say that at this point and time, I don't see myself writing fanfic again unless I'm somehow abruptly motivated/inspired or I fall into a new main fandom.
Times are definitely harder now. I'm working full time and as such my free time is severely limited (and it takes me a long time to write). To make matters harder, my Grandmother (the woman who raised me) just recently had a brain aneurysm (multiple ones, actually). We're very lucky that we caught it in time, and she appears to be on the way to making a recovery (which is excellent because no one, apparently, can do anything without her). Similarly, my mother's been struggling horribly with a broken arm (and the way that the doctors at the hospital screwed it up).
So, yeah, as you can imagine, I've been more than a bit preoccupied lately. *le sigh* I've fallen majorly back into the HP fandom, though, and have taken up a hobby of creating awesome zines and commissioning gorgeous fanart to go alone with it.

Um, yeah. Hi there. It's been... almost three years since my last update here, yeah? Not that I haven't been on , mind, because I have been. I've just been too lazy to actually update this section of my profile! Obviously, I haven't been very active where writing fic is concerned, but I've been... preoccupied of late. What with, you ask? Well, I now work a full time job at AT&T as a Customer Service Representative (and am generally found working 12 hour shifts at least 5 days a week!). Even more recently, I've been diagnosed with Ménière's Disease-- which, well, sucks to be perfectly blunt. So, with all of those hours of work a month on top of me permanently feeling like crap... well, it's not easy to become motivated! Any, uh, suggestions? Tips? Tricks or Advise?
