I find myself checking on this story and few of your other unfinished works every few months in hopes that you came back to finish them. I am always super sad to see that they are unfinished. I will continue to check though cause I have hope that one day you will come back. After all this time you still have fans. I still consider you to be one of the best Gundam Wing fan fic writers out there ️.

How sweet of Heero to bring years to Duo and Quatre at work. A good idea too, to get back in Quatre's good graces. And it's good to see Catherine again. I'm interested to see how Sandy and Leon get along. But more than that, I'm excited for Heero and Duo's first date!

The more Duo and Heero get to know each other, the better it gets. I can't wait for their first date! Poor Heero though, having to deal with Trowa's grilling afterwards. He really doesn't have any privacy from his brother, does he? And good on Duo, doing a favor for Quat as an apology even if he wasn't exactly thrilled with what Quatre told Heero. He's a good friend.

That kiss! If only Quatre hadn't interrupted... Though it's probably for the best, I suppose. But finally! And now they both know where they stand. Just gotta get this investigation taken care of first!

Duo handled the trip to the clearing better than I expected. I guess he's had a little bit of time to process everything and start to find his center again. Plus having Heero there is probably helpful. And now they've established that they're both into each other! Yay!

I like how you worked the little girl and her puppy into the story here. I can see why it would make Heero want to retire permanently. It really says something that he's willing to conduct this investigation despite that. Too bad it keeps throwing a wrench into his conversations with Duo though.

We got to learn a lot more about Duo and Solo's relationship thanks to Heero's questions. No surprise that Duo is feeling rather raw by the end of it. But finally, Duo knows that Heero and Trowa are not a couple! Yay!

How awful that the last time Duo saw Solo they had such a bad fight... And that the last thing he said to him was to drop dead. And being forced to relive it by such a jerk! Thank goodness Heero came to the rescue. Now if he'd only mention to Duo that Trowa is his *brother* rather than his lover, he'd be getting somewhere!

The local cops really are creeps, treating Duo like that when everyone knows he's been heartbroken over Solo "leaving." At least this is the push Heero needs to get involved, like he should have done from the start. And Quatre and Trowa are making progress! Yay! At least it's not all bad news, right?

Silly Duo, that wasn't a guest room! Jumping to conclusions like that... Quatre will figure it out soon enough, though. Thank goodness for Quatre, too.

And what's this Otto and Trant are so furiously talking about? Starting to get worried they'll get caught for that murder after all these years, perhaps? Hmmmm.

Heero really knows how to put his foot in it, doesn't he? Everything he said was true, of course, but he could have gone about it a little better. At least he made himself clear after going out to find Duo. Although, I don't know what he did wrong either. I'm sure it'll all work out in the end, though. Hopefully.
