This is sweet, but I just want to point out that, in the book, Christine is 21. Erik has been composing Don Juan for 20 years- since she was a baby. Before that, he was an architect so in demand, one client (a sultan, I think), tried to kill him after Erik competed his palace so he could never build anything else. He was also an assassin who killed multiple people and taught people to kill.

In the movie, he is the same age as Madame Giry, who has a daughter Christine's age. Either way, it works out to Erik being around 40 (minimum) during the action. Trying to seduce a girl half his age. That would make him around 50 when he starts dating 16-year-old Harry. Forgive me if I find that disturbing.

As a side note, I find POTO as a whole to be extremely disturbing. I mean, I love the story, but I don't think most people realize that Erik was a), at LEAST twice Christine's age, b), a madman with at least 2-3 kills (in the movie. Many more in the book) under his belt, and c), the definition of an abusive love interest.

If, however, you already knew all this and decided to write your story like this anyway, then just forget all of this comment except this: Nice story! Can't say I entirely love the concept (see above reasons), but you are clearly a good writer who understands punctuation and capitalization. I could like this story for that alone.

Erik's a pedophile? Several years later you said he was 16... so he must've been around 12... so... yeah maybe just change it around to him falling in love with him later? Because Erik is many things, but hopefully not a pedophile
