So you've wandered onto my profile page... welcome!

I'm Raven, I'm an American college student (undergrad), a girl if that's something you're interested in knowing, and I read more fanfiction than is probably healthy. I do try to spice it up now and then with, you know, real books. I'm working on it.

I'm obsessed with Harry Potter, anything by Tamora Pierce, and pretty much any other fantasy book you put in front of my nose. Cinda Williams Chima, Diane Duane, Diana Wynne Jones, C.S. Lewis, Gerald Morris, T.A. Barron, Garth Nix, Kristin Cashore... Currently my favorite is Diane Duane and her Young Wizards series. The concept of wizardry there really resonates with me.

I'm also a huge sci-fi nerd. I mean, I want to be an astrobiologist, how much nerdier can you get...? But yeah, Star Trek (TNG for lyfe), Star Wars, Doctor Who (9 is my fave, fight me I don't care), etc. I love them all. I even got through Dune, which should tell you something! Also I'm in the middle of C. J. Cherryh's Foreigner series right now, which is dense but super interesting.

And lastly, my fatal weakness-- superhero TV shows. I am literally obsessed with The Flash. (And Supergirl. And Agents of SHIELD. And... I'll stop.)
