Author has written 10 stories for Hetalia - Axis Powers, Star Wars, and Young Justice. Hello! I'm Listenerofshadows, Listener, Shadow, whatever you wanna call me! I'm always up for a chat so dont hesitate to send me a PM! I'm a big history buff, my favorite time period is particularly American colonial times/war of independence but I love any period in general. I try to keep my fanfics historically accurate as such. However, if you find something inaccurate please let me know, and do it in a polite way, I don't know everything and I don't mean to write something inaccurate especially since I research the heck out of things ' Things I won't write: Yuri/Yaoi. Sorry, it's just not my cup of tea. Also, I don't really care for cussing but in some situations it calls for it. So there may be some light cussing in my stories. Anything rated M and over, to me it just gets weird from there. This includes smut/sex scenes. Things I will write: Historical stories, obviously. Some may be a silly skit like An American Gold Rush where I tried to introduce facts about the Calfornia gold rush in a fun way or more serious fics. I am also interested in writing AUs. It's fun, I think, to imagine what a character would be like in a different setting. One thing fun about fanfiction is to see people's different takes on a character, and I think it particularly shows best in AUs where characteres are in a different universe than the canon one. My take on OCS: I have a really love-hate relationship with OCs in fanfiction. I think the main problem with them is that many fanfiction writers tend to make them mary-sues which turns people off. Many of these writers that have this tendacy also make mary-sues out of canon characters or have trouble with grammar/writing structures. So a lot of the problem is these writers are just inexperienced and don't realize how their OC turns people off. However, as you noticed I do have OCs in my fanfics xD (I'm a such a hypocrite) I try really hard to make these characters non-marysueish and as human as possible. If you find any signs of mary-sueish in my OCs, please alert me as soon as possible. As such, I mainly write APH fics. I'm not sure if I'll post any chapter-length stories (though I have a few in the work) for fear of abandoning them xD I'm sticking to writing one-shots for now. Completed Stories: Howdy Partner!
