That's an interesting interpretation of 'the power he knows notthe love Hermione feels for Harry promotes her to rewrite time itself to destroy Voldemort.

Well, this was certainly an interesting and unique fic. I have to say I wish you had continued to develop it a bit more and show how Hermione's life turned out differently after the war, but all in all I liked how you handled it.

One thing I find interesting about complete and total redo fics is how they basically erase a lot of the characters and events we know and love. There's a good case to be made that Hermione *shouldn't* regain her old memories seeing as how they're of an alternate universe that no longer exists. It would certainly mess with her perception of the current timeline. Moreover it seems silly to erase the timeline but then try to force certain things (like a H/Hr romance) anyways. Then again, that is the whole point of time travel.

I really enjoyed this story. I would have liked to see just a little more of Harry and Hermione's lives together in the epilogue. But I still very much enjoyed it. I haven't seen these plot devices before. For a second there I was worried you would have Hermione get obliviated of all the knowledge. Temporarily removing it is a lot better solution. Thanks for writing and sharing H/Hr goodness.

best time travel fix so far

Sure, it takes a little suspension of disbelief that it was so easy to fix everything. But past that? Wow, that was amazing. The part where she was going back and removing her memories was pretty horrifying, and I imagine that getting them back would mess with her too. The question of lingering impacts after giving up her memories is interesting - and I hope they made sure to leave a few months from both timelines so she wasn't reset all the way to two! The whole idea of her giving up and regaining her memories is fascinating, actually.

Honestly, this whole thing was excellent. I thought it was a fascinating idea. The way it was broken up into sections, and the style of having little tiny bits where she wrote down the alternate story, heard about the war, and gave up her memories worked very well. Thanks for sharing!
