So many details, great characterisation, lengthy interesting chapters, great intrigue, amazing plot, so many twists and happenings in the story linethis is a work of art.
I don’t know enough words in English to truly share with you how much I love your story, the work you put into it.

I had honestly given up on finding any good fics anymore, since I’ve started reading fanfics 6 years ago, but this amazing masterpiece made me so happy, I can’t thank you enough.

The politics, the familial side, the evolution of the characters, their growth, all the tiny details that ALWAYS matter are just precious. This was an incredible read from start to here (I won’t stay finish, since it’s not yet the end).

I’m so looking forward to you posting the next chapters of this story; it’s been a long time since I’ve been entertained so.

Am i the only one that find creepy that Leo who was like 17 when she was 12 and flirted with her allegedly just teasing is now in love with her? It's not so much the age difference than the context that feels like wife husbandry.

I'm not sure if you've realized this, you probably have, but your series has more words than the longest Croatian novel on the world. This is an utter masterpiece of fiction, and it spans so much! It's incredible.

I just thought about how Harry and the jewel are probably going to have to make a truce at some point and maybe she’ll become a teensy but fond of Its annoyingness and then I thought ’she can’t just keep calling It the jewel, can she?’ And then I wondered if she would give It a name. And then it came to me:

DJ.

Imagine Harry started calling the Dominion Jewel DJ! It would hate it! It would be so beautiful and it would make up for how annoying Harry finds It. I’m a genius. Lol.

I’ve just spent the last two weeks crazily reading these four books and I just have to say that I’m in awe! Unbelievably amazing writing in every sense. Now that I’m caught up I can’t WAIT for the next chapter.

What an intense chapter, my teeth were gritted IRL for some parts of it! The tasks you've come up with are incredible. Riddle is such a competent asshole politician. His plots are fascinating to read about, but they make me want to hex him. I hope Harry gets the opportunity to best him fully one day.

I'm very worried about Archie now that Harry has given up his blood. I frantically hope that she tells him that she had to give up some of his blood, just so they're both aware that something could happen! With the way these blood wards have come up, I'm pretty sure Riddle has something planned...

I'm very happy that the ruse hasn't been revealed! I love all the inventive solutions Harry and Archie has come up with to keep it going, like the fake, ahem, appendage from last chapter and so on. Draco's reaction was pretty funny too. I hope the ruse doesn't get revealed until verrry late in the story, that's how much I love it. Though I do think it could be interesting if one person figured out that she was a girl but thought that she was trans, like what Hermione thinks about Archie. But otherwise, please keep it going strong! It adds such an edge to everything.

Rigel is my fave protagonist in all of fanfiction and I live for this story because of her. Thankyouthankyouthankyou for making such a smart, strong, complex female protagnonist!

I hate how male protagonists get to be smart and strong and complex with nobody saying a word against it but if a female protagonist has those same traits she's called a Mary Sue. And I was looking everywhere for a fic with a female protagonist that would have all those traits male protagonists get to have without being questioned, until I found your story. And then the story is just so expertly plotted and well-paced and with a cast so big and diverse that I have to stand back and marvel constantly.

Violet, this story is a one-of-a-kind treasure. Rigel is a damned treasure. Thank you for not being afraid to make your female protagonist actually *skilled*.

I just wanted to thank you for your writing. I've enjoyed it so much and it's been so captivating to read. I've been reading it nonstop since I discovered this collection. I don't think I've been as focused since I originally read Tamora Pierce, and you've really managed to combine the two worlds while also making it your own universe wonderfully. As a reader you have my deep graititude and I'll be delighted to see how the story progresses in the months and years to come. Congratulations on finishing the first draft of your original work as well.

Ok I’m rereading for the millionth time and this HAS to be the year of the reveal! As the convo with Dawlish shows, she literally already knows everything in her classes and she’s even learned free-brewing enough to figure out the rest by herself. SHe doesn’t actually need to go to Hogwarts anymore. and you say five books, and if you are following Alanna than there needs to be a Woman Who Rides Like a Man section where Rigel goes off and learns things that help her overcome Riddle in the end. So like, the reveal at the end of the tournament and then some time away from Hogwarts and then the final fight. That’s my take. Also I know it’s not really in Rigel’s deeply guilty character but when the reveal happens I wish she would be like fuck all you fuckers I’m the best witch ever and I’ve invented a million things in both identities and am super powerful and all of you are WRONG. Like I love when she gets badass a la defeating Owens at dueling. Anyway these are just my guesses I enjoyed my reread as always and can’t wait for what’s next!

gems like these are why i still trudge my way through fanfiction. The characters are highly flushed out, the plot deliciously convoluted without ever being overwhelming. Harry's perspective never fails to engage me and after binging all the stories in one go I find myself waiting on the next.

Thank you for writing these! Something about these characters and this setting has really revitalized that old part of me that would read novels in the light of a little wall nightlight. Harry Potter will always have a fond part in my heart and the way you've worked with the material supplements the original perfectly. It's a perfect expansion on the canon, I absolutely love the back alleys and Leo. The way Harry moves so independently about her world feels natural and makes the world feel real rather than just exsisting for the sake of her convenience like some fics do. The whole premise of this series, that Hogwarts became pureblood only and that Tom Riddle felt remorse over myrtle is spectacularily idealized. I'm envious of your grasp of character and motivation.

another thing you do that i've never seen done well is the flattery. Lot's of fics have kids going around bowing and giving verbose and grandiose compliments but it always feels incongruous and silly. This fic makes it all feel real. I'm almost offended on part of the purebloods. Not becuase i agree with them, but because I can empathise with the sheer humanity they display. I'm so tired of reading fics with two dimensional characters. I'm very glad to have found this story.
