![]() Author has written 13 stories for Criminal Minds, Sherlock, Spider-Man, and How to Train Your Dragon. Hi my name is Gessie (pronounced Jessie). I'm graduated high school and am currently looking for a job. I love writing stories, but a lot of the time I will end up working on multiple stories at the same time and I burn out. During the 2013 summer and part of the school year, I didn't write anything. I couldn't have written anything, my mind burnt out and I suffered from major writer's block. During the Winter break, I was finally able to start writing again, but I have to work on one story at a time. I still have 20 unfinished finished stories stored in my laptop, but I have forty that are finished and waiting to be posted. Anyways let me shed some light onto my background on how I became a writer. When I was in the fourth grade, every student in the fourth and fifth grade had to write a poem. The principal would then choose five winners. The winners would get to go and spend the day at a college and learn about how to be the best writers they could be. I was wrote a poem called STAR DUST. I was the number one winner and only fourth grader to win. At that time I didn't care about writing, I was just glad that I got to spend a day out of school. When I was in the ninth grade, I had to stay with my grandmother for a few months, while my mother was on a business trip in Japan. A few weeks after staying with her, she grounded me because I stayed after school to help with prom committee. She grounded for the following two weeks. I was to get up, go to school, come home, and sit in my room every day (I was already doing that). She had taken away my phone, TV, radio, iPod and my books. Needless to say I got bored very fast. The sources of entertainment I had was a notebook full of empty pages and a deck of cards. I choose the notebook. I started writing. I didn't know what I was writing, but it sounded good. By the time I got my electronics back I had written and finished a multi-chapter RDJ'S Sherlock Holmes fanfiction. I was proud of myself. I showed it to my friends, and teachers. I didn't show it to my family, because I knew they would belittle me. They had always belittled me for reading my books, since everything is electronic. Well there's how I became a writer. I do hope you enjoy my stories. |
