A/N: Okay, this is the last chapter for this story, then I will be trying out some other things. I went through a ton of my older unfinished stories and sorted everything out as complete or in progress, so once I finish this one, then all my stories will be finished (More or less). It feels good to be back on this website!

John's POV:

"What have you done with Sherlock? Where has he gone? What is a cryotube?" I questioned. The commander stared at me in silence and then lowered his head, hitting the tablet a few times before something flashed on the screen. It looked like a lot of writing and I read some of it upside down. My name was a the top of the electronic file.

"I am Spock, I am part of the star fleet crew and assigned to the USS Enterprise. And you Mr. Watson… Do you know what year it is, sir?" He asked, using a long finger to scroll through my file, raising his freaky looking eyebrows every so often.

"Well, it is obviously not 2014, now is it?"

"No, it's far into the future." He sighed and looked at me. "When we had knowledge of the torpedoes, I had a specialist run through every person on Khan's crew for an identity."

"Okay, hold it right there-Who is Khan? What torpedoes?"

Spock tilted his head as if he didn't understand. "Shall I start from the beginning?"

"Yes please." I begged. Spock leaned back in his chair and scrolled through the tablet again.

"Can you tell me the last thing you remember before waking up?" Now that was a question I hadn't thought about. What happened to the little flat 221B Baker St? Where is Mary?

Sherlock was on the plane, then it landed again. We went back to the flat… Then Mary left unexpectedly. Then we tracked her down and got separated in an empty warehouse. She had a gun trained on Sherlock and I, and that is all I could remember.

"Nothing much." I lied.

"Well, it seems here Mr. Watson-"

"Doctor. Dr. Watson." I corrected him. The look he gave me was the most irritated look I have ever seen in a man.

"Dr. Watson." He grumbled. "It seems here that you-" The door behind Spock opened and Spock looked to the ceiling annoyed. "Another interruption I presume."

"Don't get to excited to see me." A man walked in with light hair and old scratches on his face. He gripped the side of the door frame.

"Captain, are you sure you should be out at this time?"

"Why not?" He said and pushed Spock and his pointy ears out of the chair.

"So, Dr. Watson. It says here on your file…" He squinted and sighed. "You… Solved crimes with a man named Sherlock Holmes? And that was in the year 2015. That was the last time you were conscious?"

"Can you please explain how I got here?" I asked.

Kirk looked over the file and gathered his information before looking at me directly in the eye.

"I hope this doesn't come as a big shock for you sir, but according to our files, a woman named Mary Morstan-"

"My wife." I threw in hastily.

"-Ouch." He said without emotion. "Your wife shot you and you were put in a coma. Bent on revenge, this man named Sherlock Holmes tracked down Mary, she was jailed a year later and assassinated 5 months into her sentence."

"Oh god." I didn't know where to begin. The fact that my own wife betrayed me, and even though I thought her past wasn't ever going to catch up with her again, it did. My best friend vowed to bring her to justice and never once gave up on me. And now we are here.

"Once the technology advanced, Sherlock became a fugitive, tearing down terrorist networks, and damaging innocent civilizations in the process."

"Sherlock wouldn't do that."

"That's were we have a disagreement." He looked up. "From then on, he traveled with you in a cryo tube, which is like an isolated pod thing. I didn't like it." He grumbled. "And built a crew, focused on maintaining superiority when really he was wrecking havoc. How he was able to stay alive all these years, is a mystery to me. Our finest doctors are analyzing samples of his blood."

The path of self destruction was never something I would associate with Sherlock. He had stayed clean as far as I had known and to spiral out of control like that seems highly unlikely.

"Why would he do that though? Sherlock-He isn't that stone cold." I blurted. Kirk and Spock narrowed their eyes.

"On with the story, Sherlock changed his name to Khan to escape persecution, then to John Harrison."

Spock stepped forward. "From there, we have the destruction and the tragic loss of many cities, which was a result of Khan's actions." Kirk grumbled.

"Not to mention he almost killed me."

"He did kill you." Spock pushed in as a matter of fact.

"Shut up." Kirk said and took a raggedy breath. "Now, Watson, you seem like a decent man. Is there anything we missed that you could help us with? Anything at all?"

"Nothing." I said. Even if I knew anything, I wouldn't say. Sherlock is my best friend and I wouldn't give up any information that could incarcerate either of us. And even if Mary betrayed me, I have to remember the better times. The smell of her hair after a shower, our first dance at the wedding, the way I felt when I met her and tried to propose to her.

"Thank you for your time. Kirk stood up and backed out the door with Spock. Another man in a grey uniform came in and took me out another door behind me. I followed him down a hallway, mindlessly like a sheep herded by a dog.

We passed many rooms and hallways until he led me into an open warehouse looking room. Cryo tubes, the ones I woke up from were lined in rows. I looked into one and the frozen face of a woman lay, sleeping peacefully.

Towards the end, a cryo tube was being settled next to an empty one. The man led me to the empty one and when I looked into the new one that had just been set down by five workers, Sherlock's face was visible in the little window. His lips were unmoving and his eyes closed instead of taking in the world around us.

When I closed my eyes for the last time, I pictured myself at Baker street. Sherlock was playing his violin and Mrs. Hudson was so pleased and happy, looking like a proud mother. Lestrade and Molly were talking for quite a while and I was settled on the couch in my warmest jumper with my girlfriend at the time. That just seemed like the place I wanted to go at that moment.

A/N: Shitty ending, I know. Sorry for dragging it out so long. I am planning on writing a SPN fanfic soon, so stay tuned if you care : ) Thanks so much for reading and reviewing.
