I haven't seen the old series, but I love fics that have reunions with the Doctor and his old companions. It was a really enjoyable read even though I wasn't familiar with all of the characters. Thanks for writing!

I recommended this story on Tumblr but I thought I should write a review here just to be respectful [as I read this on my mobile a few days ago and was unable to write one then]. I really liked how you blended the newest and oldest of the Doctor's eras in such a respectful manner. The characterization is done well on Barbara and Ian, and fantastically on the Doctor and how he's grown since travelling with him [900 years of growing, since he was 300 when he began?] as well as how he's stayed the same, stayed the Doctor that we know and love. There's no disrespect on the original characterization of Ian and Barbara from back in the day , which is quite common, and I applaud you on that.
