Okay, so if you didn't know, my name "PrincessRedfern" comes from the book series Vampire Academy and Night World. The "Princess" refers to the royal Moroi world in Vampire Academy, specifically Lissa Dragomir, because who wouldn't want to be a princess, right? The "Redfern" refers to the all powerful vampire family in Night World, the Redferns and more specifically Ash Redfern who I used to be absolutely in love with. And unfortunately that was about as creative as I could get at 13 so...

As you can probably tell already, I like vampires. My favourite series are Vampire Academy, Vampire Diaries, Night World, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Charmed (I am unashamed to admit my enormous crush on/obsession with Chris Halliwell... Watch season six of Charmed and thank me later), Harry Potter and more recently SUPERNATURAL. I'm also a fan of Gilmore Girls, One Tree Hill, Gossip Girl and the Hunger Games. I mostly write fanfiction for Vampire Academy, Vampire Diaries, Charmed and Supernatural, though I have ventured into writing some unpublished stuff for some of the other above series.

I have a lot of ideas for stories but my interest in fanfiction fluctuates, as does my interest in particular fandoms so my stories will tend to be from a whole bunch of different fandoms and I may at one point lose interest in writing about certain fandoms at certain times.

I'm not the most frequent author in uploading stories,especially multi chapter ones, however that's because I have a tendency to lose inspiration for a story after a while so I have a strict policy of not uploading a story unless it's been completely (or almost completely) written. I'm currently working on a few longer stories, one of which I hope to upload very soon.

I believe my writing has improved immensely since I published my first story, as has my ability to name a story and write a summary. I'm open to all advice on how I can further improve but will probably never rewrite any of the stories I've already published, mostly because I like to look back and see how much I've improved but also because some of those stories were published a long long time ago and I couldn't rewrite them if I tried.

So be warned some of my earlier stuff is also a bit juvenile and poorly written (case in hand: The Meaning of Life, a VA fanfic based on a dream I had that was short, poorly written and barely thought out or planned) but I'd like to think some of my recent stuff is more mature and better written. I guess that's for you decide...

Well, read and enjoy I guess. Reviews are always appreciated but as an avid fanfiction reader who only reviews if a story really touches me, I get it if you don't.
