Hello, everyone. My name is Brandon and I have been a huge fan of fan fiction for a very long time. I have only been writing for the last few years and it has been a genuine blast. I love the kinds of stories that involve changing a single detail and going through a story to find how it can affect the rest of the plot. (Ex. Harry Potter in Slytherin.) I also extremely enjoy non-traditional pairings. I almost always avoid canon pairings for at least the main character. Not that I dislike them it is more to do with the fact that I want to read something different then already shown. It always surprises me the way those stories can go. I have been reading books for fun since I picking up the Magic Treehouse books in elementary school before graduating to Hardy Boys, Hatchet, and The Hobbit. I mostly enjoy fantasy books as I am a huge fan of The Witcher, Dark Tower, Shannara, Lord of the Rings, Outlander, and anything Neil Gaiman writes. My number one favorite book is Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman. Currently I am only part way through the Witcher series, but it is already one of my favorites. My favorite pairings for common fandoms and why: (Some spoilers may be ahead.) Star Wars: Ahsoka/Asajj (Both were betrayed and left on their own.) Harry Potter: Harry/Luna (The two outcasts that understand that it is ok to be different.) Naruto: Naruto/Ino (Don't know really. I just don't like Sakura.) Legend of Korra: Korra/Asami (Only Canon pairing I truly ship) SHIELD: Skye/Captain America (I love Skye getting caught up in Avenger problems and this pairing is always interesting. Black Widow, Thor, and Bucky also work as well. I like the ones where Tony is Skye's dad as well.) Bleach: Ichigo/Yoruichi (Not sure but I read several good stories for this pairing that made me love it.) Buffy: Buffy/Faith (The two slayers that no one really understands how hard the job can be.) Fairy Tail: Natsu/Mira (Bonding over the loss of Lisana) Merlin: Merlin/Morgana (Merlin actually ignoring the dragon and telling Morgana about magic and keeping each other's secret.) Lost Girl: Bo/Tamsin (Mostly because Dyson and Lauren suck.) Sword Art Online: Kirito/Sinon (Asuna went from awesome to whiny girl after SAO arc.) Once Upon a Time: Emma/Lily (Childhood best friends bound by fate.) Arrow: Oliver/Nyssa (Working together to change the League or bonding over Sara) One Piece: Luffy/Hancock (Mostly because I find Hancock infatuation hilarious. I enjoy Luffy/Robin almost as much.) These are just a few of the things I look for in a story. If any of you have any recommendations of a story you think I might like and may not have read yet I encourage you to shoot me a message. Or if you just want to chat about something that is fine as well. Just let me know. I have a bit of a challenge also. I am a huge Once Upon a Time fan and one pairing idea that I want to see but have been unable to really get up and write about is a story where Emma and Ruby/Red get close and start a relationship before the curse breaks. If you write a story like that or have already seen one I would love to know about it. Current Stories: Dark Disciple's Partner, Ahsoka's Apprentice, Swan Family |
