![]() Author has written 8 stories for Naruto, Ninja Turtles, Star Vs. The Forces of Evil, X-overs, and Parodies and Spoofs. Greetings to all fanfiction.net users A little about what I do here: I am the first (hopefully unless there are people like me on this website) to 'licence' fanfiction here. What I hope to do is what FUNimation, 4Kids Entertainment, and Viz Media do to anime (except, you know, with fanfiction). The process: 1. (At the suggestion of my real friends, other fanfiction users, or at my discretion) I take a look at a fanfiction that will catch my eye. 2. After reading the entire story (either complete, on infinite Hiatus, or completely abandonded) I'll decide if I want to put it up on my profile 3. I'll then send the author a message asking permission to re-upload to my profile. Keep in mind that this is one of the longest parts of the process because the author will either answer me ASAP, in due time or never. 4a. If the author basically tells me no, then I'll A.) leave the story alone for a period of time and ask again later. B.)let the author finish it and let the fans enjoy it for what it is. or C.) Let the author finish it and ask again. 4b. If the author basically tells me yes then I'll A.) re-upload the story and make some minor adjustments to things like grammar that the author missed. B.) re-upload the story and make major adjustments like continuity problems, making the story more up-to-date or (very rarely) C.) re-upload the story and COMPLETLY RE-VAMP IT 5. After doing the above, I'll up-load the story having completly triple checked it and let the reveiws/hate/joy come flodding in. A little more about me: I am an anime/manga fan, not a huge one (owning every single merchandice, going to the conventions, dessing up like a paticular character) but not a small one either (knowing only about one series and one series only). I own a little merchandice like DVD's/the manga, checking up what's new, and knowing a little trivia. I'm also what you call a neutral fan of anime. What does that mean; well take this for an example: in the anime fandom you have two major groups: the hard-core Japanese fandom ("Fuck the language I grew up learning, the actors dub it horribly! I wish I lived in Japan instead of this shitty country! And fuck anyone that doesn't agree with me, you can all go to hell!") and the hard-core dubbed language fandom ("Fuck you Japanese pricks, your language is stupid and hard to understand! That's why I'll watch it dubbed in my language. And hey, if the country that I'm watching it in changed the music then that's fine too! If you don't agree with me, the you can go fuck yourself!") Now back to me, I respect that the anime does come from Japan and I think that the Japanese seiyū do a very good job dubbing the anime. I also respect that I grew up learning the English language so any anime that I watch will be dubbed in English, and I think that the actors that dub the anime do a very good job too. Any anime that I happen to own, I will usually prefer to watch it in English because I understand it. I will watch anime dubbed in Japanese so long as I have the English subtitles on. I also LOVE playing video games, both old and new so long as it isn't very frustrating to play (I turn into James Rolfe (AKA The Angry Video Game Nerd) whenevery I play a horrible/bad/frustrating game) I watch Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, TNT, TBS, USA network, FOX, and ABC Family. I also watch The CW 4Kids Toonzai, which is now the CW Vortexx (Haters: BOO!! Me: Shut UP!) Kids WB was the bomb, but now this is the last actual Saturday morning cartoon block that is left so I have to pay my respects and honor what The CW network is doing. One last thing: If for some obscure reason the original fanfiction gets deleted I will always upload the original version on my profile so that the fans who don't like my revisions can read it in its unaltered form. Current acquisitions: 1. The Rights to Mizukage (original author: Dragon6) 2. Permission to use one idea from Stregnth of Ninjutsu (original author: Dark Signer) 3. The rights to The Insane Critic (original author TLSoulDude, but co-authored by Lunatic). This comes with a stipulation; Lunatic is against the idea of re-posting it on Fanfiction . Net since it was taken down by their admins. He is open to the idea of re-posting it on Deviantart. Future (and hopeful) acquisitions: TBA |
