Interesting ideas should be shared and enjoyed. Fun tales can be created with a bit of work and enjoying what others create. Read, enjoy, create, and learn. That's how I view things, and FanFiction.net provides a good place to work out some of my thoughts while writing a little now and then to avoid getting rusty. Its a place where a lot of fun tales emerge by the hands of others as well, definitely worth following.

I've been writing on a few ideas of mine and enjoying the tales here, both mine and those written by others. The site both provides inspiration and allows me to share my own imagination's creations with those who might enjoy reading some. I am going to be around now and again, and keep writing when I am not suffering from the writer's block. Erratic update schedules aside, I've got a bit of a habit to slip between tales to keep my mind fresh and take a pause from something so I can build up ideas while working on something else.

I'm writing for fun, and practicing my writing skills here so I hope people enjoy the tales but don't expect too much. This is all for fun and laughs, not profits.

I have been busy for a fair while, unable to really write the way I have wanted to write. I have a better computer available now though, as well as abit more time to spend writing, and with some of the pressure off my shoulders I am able to start thinking about writing once again.

At the present time though I am considering focusing solely on the Zerg Patriarch and letting the other stories wait for now. I haven't been writing here for a while and it will take a bit of time to get myself back to where I was before this long break from typing. I hope to have a new Zerg Patriarch chapter up later tonight, or in the next 2 days if I am unhappy with how the chapter is looking by the time I decide to get some rest tonight.

I plan to continue my Overlord story later, I am a bit unsure about the Dungeon Keeper one as while amusing as a thought, I am not sure if I am able to focus on it before I am done with at least Zerg Patriarch, and I'd rather give focus to a couple of stories to not end up stopping my writing at lack of inspiration at some point, trying too much at once after a long hiatus.

As for the X-Com story, I am going to just say I had a bit of different elements in mind to combine of different past X-Com games and didn't count on the ideas sparked by the arrival of the 'Enemy Within' add on to the 'Enemy Unknown' title. Given that its practically grinded my muse on that story to a screeching halt, I am considering the unpleasant option of abandoning that story to let the others live, and returning to the idea later, whether as a continuation or as a complete rewrite will have to be seen then. For now, I have to try and focus on other tales first.
