Reviews for Fleur's Surprise
pavook chapter 10 . 6/10
If the elves depend on the magic of the master, couldn't they just pop in whenever he was alone without muggles around and ask if he needs anything? Privet street might be warded, but it's so weird not even one of them checked the one giving them magic and sustenance in any of the magical places.
pavook chapter 8 . 6/10
Hmm, fixing Hermine's teeth is nice. What about Harry? He did buy some new clothes, but there is one thing more important, his glasses. He really should buy a new one or better a pair of them. See if there is any magical treatment for such defects.
pavook chapter 7 . 6/10
I think the author went too far with liberties here. Potter, Perevell and Grifindor titles I could reluctantly accept. Hopefully without any more ridiculous extra titles and giant piles of money and properties.

What I find ridiculous is testing Leggimens on Snape and Dumbledore. These guys are most accomplished not just in school, but among all magical British citizens. Snape should have been even Master Occlumens, fooling Dumbledore and Voldemort's legilimens probes. Dumbledore have even century of life honing his skill... It underlines Harry's accomplishments as everything is handed to him easily and it's not believable and quite unrealistic.

I do not want this to be a story of I'm Harry of too many titles and I own a quarter of magical Britain, and by the way, I'm most powerful of anyone alive. That might be enjoyable the first time reading such story, but not when it's repeated in many fanfics.
pavook chapter 3 . 6/10
Good to see Harry not trusting Dumbledore blindly. It's even better than a simple bash story. Harry was raised to not trust adults and teachers. He has some measure of trust to Dumbledore, but he never was someone who shared everything in his life, even Hermione doesn't know it all.
Pun intended.
Some things are not meant to be shared with authority figures.

Love it
Spidersauce chapter 5 . 4/5
I personally dislike that she refused to go to the ball with her fiancé, especially with your given explanation that she enjoyed the attention of a famous athlete instead. What's that all about? As far as protecting Harry, why wouldn't Skeeter got after him and Padma all the same?
Spidersauce chapter 5 . 4/5
It's pretty pathetic that Harry couldn't read the letter alone. I understand her being there helping, but refusing to doing so alone wholesale? That's just sad, and shows Harry far emotionally weaker than he is in canon.
But I understand this isn't canon, and you may do as you wish.
HarryPotterFangirl85 chapter 15 . 3/16
I enjoyed reading the story. I also did not understand the purpose for Umbridge even being introduced, because the events that caused her to be there in the first place we’re no longer at issue.
lonewolf420 chapter 5 . 2/10
Why didn't he just go with Fleur? Is there going to be more then two wives or is this simply to throw them off completely? I mean while it's a good thing to not go public with his relationship yet it would have been a good chance for him to see if he was compatible with Fleur or should see if he had more in common with her sister.
Roger Taylor chapter 15 . 2/9
02-09-2020.
Great story. I just started reading fan fiction this year and I must confess that some of the stories are better than the originals this one especially. Thank you
tyrannicpuppy chapter 14 . 12/11/2019
Such a sweet and happy family they make. It's beautiful to watch.
tyrannicpuppy chapter 1 . 12/10/2019
A cute beginning. It's not too hard to believe Harry has been kept sheltered from the ways of men and women. The Dursleys hardly want him breeding, Hogwarts is not exactly running a bordello. All he'd know would be rumour and gossip in the guys dorm is hardly a reliable source.
BillBrink chapter 15 . 11/25/2019
This was my second through and was just as enjoyable. Thanks once again.
19Shorty chapter 15 . 11/24/2019
