 Author has written 4 stories for How to Train Your Dragon, Pokémon, and Kung Fu Panda. Well, life has definitely been interesting this last year. I got a masters degree, bought a house, and started a career. It's time to stop being lazy and actually write again in my free time! Let's do this! Note: with all my shifting interests, I very rarely spend time in any one fandom; instead, I drift around and read the stories that I deem interesting. That said, I tend to love stories that shift away from the cliché and try something new, even if that is just taking a cliché and putting a crazy spin on it. If I wanted to read a story that was the same as cannon – looking at you Harry Potter fics – than I would read or watch the cannon. - Current Projects - Paradigm Shift (How to Train your Dragon) Once upon a time, this was supposed to be a small story. A twist on the popular transformation story where Hiccup didn't lose his voice. I wanted it to be a bit more gritty and realistic than is typical for this type of story. Then this story went through a few re-imaginings and I had a bunch of ideas, restructured the whole thing and before I knew it I was looking at a 200k word story. I just needed to write it. Then real life struck and I never got around to it. Time to fix that. To those reading this story, prepare your butts, it gets pretty dang crazy down the stretch and has some absolutely wonderful plot twists. Also, prepare for a bit of grit, horror, and gore. I plan on trying to keep it somewhat lighter than it could be, but the story still ends up shockingly dark. I'm just hoping to keep it from being as black as night Smoke and Mirrors (Kung Fu Panda) A fun little story about Shen going back in time. I love stories that deal with villains and making them extensively interact with character they normally wouldn't. The catch, however, to this, is making sure that both the antagonist and the protagonist are still in character. I don't want a Shen that goes back in time and acts friendly to Po; that wouldn't make any sense. I want a Shen that goes back in time despising and hating Po. Maybe, just maybe a friendship can form? Ha, not likely. The story is planned out and ready to go. I plan on working on it some next year, but primary focus is on Paradigm Shift at the moment.
