I love how well you portray Sirius’ own naivety and youth - not much more than a teenager. Love the inner turmoil. I do rather hope he and his parents do get along better as Black Mask progresses, but it’s a wonderfully written bumpy road that I almost don’t want it to end!

Ah, Sirius, still such a child really. Really hope we see more of James later on in Black Mask.

I do love how they interact - the whole family obviously cares about one another but they don’t half make it difficult for each other!

Sirius’ whole family is brilliant.

Bloody hell! This was a brilliant chapter! Everyone seemed to be spot-on not out of character, especially the Black family - I just love Sirius' strange hate relationship he has with his estranged parents and brother, but somehow or maybe just a little (in my eyes at the end of the chapter he sorta, soften a little or perhaps it was just due to the effects of the curse he'd been hit with).

I'd always been wanting to read where Reg actually survives and well comes to his brother and explains to his family what had happened. Somehow you actually managed to make me not to hate Walburga and Orion Black like I do in canon (which I loath them tremendously) and you also showed a much more realistic side to them - kudos to you!

Also I do have to admit, besides the Potters, Remus, Sirius and others etc. . . , the Black family fascinates me on certain things for some strange reason that I can't exactly pin-point what it is that intrigues me about them!

Oh poor Regulus, such a cinnamon roll that needs to be deeply loved! He's also my fave character too! It's so sad that Sirius hadn't known the truth of his little brother and for what he died for and if he had ever knew. . .who knows how Sirius might have thought of little Reg. The two Black brothers shared a terrible fate in the end that's just heartbreaking! You have me gripped onto this story! ;)
