Okay, first things first, I really, really hate writing profiles. For me writing this is like dragging sharpened fingernails down the blackboard of my soul.

I'm British, female, and old enough that if you were to ask me how old I am I wouldn't be able to tell you my exact age. I've been writing, and reading, and reading about writing for a long time, and I finally feel like I'm starting to get a handle on it. I also beta, and would love to Beta for the fandoms that I primarily write in or want to write in, so if you write stories for Z Nation, Supernatural or similar than take a look at my beta profile and drop me a PM if interested.

My writing skews dark and gritty, and usually has a streak of sadness mixed in there somewhere. I'm not massively interested in slash or shipping. What I really enjoy is asking, 'What if?' and investigating characters' motives. Oh, and horror.

My current WIP is a novel-length Bildungsroman of the Gray Fox for the Elder Scrolls iv: Oblivion.

Any comments about my writing are always appreciated. And I'm not just talking about concrit (which when constructively worded is always welcomed), but even just a heads up to let me know you're reading my work. It gets kind of lonely writing in small fandoms, y'know.
