![]() Author has written 235 stories for Legend of the Seeker, Power Rangers, Harry Potter, and Merlin. The Avatar picture of Lucius and Narcissa present on my profile page can be found on the tumblr beforeiamreunitedwithlucius. I found the picture to be extremely gorgeous. The way that Lucius and Narcissa are looking at each other and the coloring of the picture is absolutely breathtaking and beautiful. Important Note: I am not interested in doing any role playing. It just is not my thing. My FanFiction Philosophies I like to look at the "other side" of the story. Most of my stories focus on the "villains," as I find them to usually be more interesting and more complex than the "heroes." Another thing that is important in my stories is the celebration of the individual. I truly believe that everyone is an individual with a unique personality. People cannot just be grouped together as if they are all exactly the same. No one is exactly the same. Everyone is different and unique in their own way. Darken Rahl/Kahlan (Rahlan) Quote "'You are both the light and the darkness.'" -Darken Rahl to Kahlan (my own personal Rahlan quote) My Lucius/Narcissa (Lucissa) Pet Peeves 1. Lucius abusing Narcissa in any way (physically, emotionally, sexually, etc.). The Harry Potter books show on several occasions that Lucius respects Narcissa's opinion, and there's no way to me that abuse and respect can go together. Also, Narcissa defending Lucius in Half-Blood Prince could have potentially been dangerous to her because she was doing it in front of Bellatrix (who Narcissa knew was completely devoted to the Dark Lord, who was at that time very angry at Lucius). Narcissa would not have taken such a risk to defend a man who had abused her at some point. Also, even Harry Potter Wiki says that Lucius and Narcissa appeared to have a close, affectionate relationship; and it is also mentioned on Harry Potter Wiki that Narcissa truly loved Lucius (and there's no way that she would have "truly" loved him if he had ever abused her). As a side note, Harry Potter Wiki also mentions that Lucius is good at Potions (I just really don't like stories in which Lucius is portrayed as being helpless at Potions). 2. Lucius and/or Narcissa having an affair. Sorry, I see both Lucius and Narcissa as having too much respect for one another to cheat. And honestly, what's so wrong with having a couple that is actually faithful to one another? 3. Lucius and/or Narcissa deciding that they want to get a divorce. For me, they stuck by and supported each other through too many tough times for them to suddenly decide they no longer want to be with each other. 4. Narcissa being a secret Muggle sympathizer while Lucius is a bastard. I have nothing wrong with Grey!Malfoy stories (as I don't see them as being pure evil anyways), but I don't like reading stories in which Narcissa is complete saint while Lucius is just a jerk. 5. Lucius and/or Narcissa being a bastard or a jerk to the other. Now I have no problems with them arguing or being angry with each other, as that is normal for any couple, but I don't want to read stories about Lucius and/or Narcissa hating the other. They may not always agree (what couple does?), but they always respect each other. To sum up all my Lucissa pet peeves, neither Lucius nor Narcissa is a saint, but they do love each other. Lucius/Narcissa (Lucissa) Quotes "The truly amazing thing about Lucius and Narcissa is that they are able to show their love for each other without having to resort to silly kisses or to cliche red roses." (my own personal Lucissa quote). A Lucissa Quote from KaibaGirl17: "Some couples can look upon one another's face and the expression is the same they would have for a stranger. While others can look upon one another and there isn't a soul in the world that could ever doubt the love one reciprocates for the other. Lucius and Narcissa are the latter." My Favorite Actors/Actresses These actors/actresses really made me love the characters that they played. I would not have felt the same way about these characters if not for the way that these actors/actresses chose to portray their characters. Gerard Butler as Erik aka the Phantom in Phantom of the Opera because he was a versatile actor, and he was able to make the Phantom's rapid mood swings believable. With Butler's performance, I both loved and hated the Phantom. Sometimes I was angry at the Phantom, but then the next moment I found myself feeling sorry for him because of Butler's amazing performance. I also loved Butler's dark, sometimes harsh voice because it really fitted the Phantom's dark personality. Butler's voice was also very emotional and expressive. He did not just sing; he acted as he sang. Butler's voice was overall, for me, very seductive. Patrick Wilson as Raoul in Phantom of the Opera because Wilson's voice was warm and gentle, perfect for Raoul's personality and also a wonderful contrast to Butler's darker, harsher voice. You could tell that the Phantom and Raoul were of different personalities based on Butler's and Wilson's voices. Butler sounded like someone who could be both twisted and vulnerable, while Wilson sounded like someone who was noble and kind but also protective. Craig Parker as Darken Rahl in Legend of the Seeker because he was an actor that was able to give subtle vulnerability to Rahl's character. Darken Rahl could have easily been a one-dimensional villain, but Parker gave him depth without going over the top. Katie McGrath as Morgana in Merlin because in her interviews she was extremely passionate about her character and she was always ready to defend Morgana's actions. McGrath was also funny and full of life in her interviews and nothing at all like the cruel, twisted Morgana, a sign of a truly amazing actress. McGrath was also able to give some meaningful emotions to her otherwise dark, evil character. Alexander Vlahos as Mordred in Merlin because he made Mordred a complex character that I could sympathize with and understand. Vlahos was overall amazing, but he was absolutely wonderful in the episode "Drawing of the Dark." I really felt sorry for Mordred in this episode, and I could tell that Mordred's character was torn and conflicted until the very end. Bradley James as Arthur in Merlin because he was a versatile actor. He could make Arthur a brat, but he could also make Arthur serious and caring. James could make you cry in the emotional episodes, but he could also make you laugh in the humorous episodes. Jason Isaacs as Lucius Malfoy in Harry Potter because I love what he bought to Lucius's character. I love how Isaacs wanted the long blond hair and the snake cane. Truly, both Lucius and Draco have wonderful, beautiful hair, LOL; but there is just something about Lucius's hair that I like a little more than Draco's, LOL. On a more serious note, I also love Isaacs's arrogant and cold but also smooth and polished voice. As Lucius Malfoy, Isaacs has an aristocratic face, while really helps bring to life Lucius's belief that he is a proper, wealthy pureblood. All of these gives Isaacs's Lucius Malfoy a dark but majestic presence that's perfect for a villain. Tom Felton as Draco Malfoy in Harry Potter because Felton makes you completely believe that he is an arrogant bully and that he enjoys playing that role. Felton, however, is also able to bring a believable vulnerability and humanity to Draco Malfoy's character. Felton, therefore, is able to show on screen the complex character that is Draco Malfoy. Evanna Lynch as Luna Lovegood in Harry Potter because Lynch gave Luna the perfect dreamy voice, and she also gave Luna such an enduring innocence. Lynch truly made Luna an unique, memorable character who stood out from all the rest. Imelda Staunton as Dolores Umbridge in Harry Potter because she did a wonderful job of actually making you hate her as a villain. There are too many villains that are too wooden to feel anything towards them, but that was not the case with Staunton's Umbridge. I actually enjoyed hating her. I also liked how she acted all sweet on the outside, while she was really all twisted and sadistic in the inside. Helena Bonham Carter as Bellatrix Lestrange in Harry Potter because you could tell that the actress was enjoying herself in the movies. She also did a wonderful job of making me believe that her character truly was crazy and demented. Jeremy Irons as Scar in Lion King. I just loved his voice. He really added a lot of charisma and personality to Scar's character. Tony Shalhoub as Adrian Monk in the TV series Monk. He kept Monk's character interesting, entertaining, and fun to watch throughout the entire 8 seasons that this show lasted. He gave Monk's character so much depth, and he was able to play Monk in so many different ways while still managing to stay in character. My Favorite Characters Phantom of the Opera: Erik aka the Phantom (my #1 Phantom of the Opera character, he is such a complex character), Raoul (I do not like Raoul-bashing, he is not a bad guy, he really does love Christine), Madame Giry, Meg Legend of the Seeker: Darken Rahl (my #1 Legend of the Seeker character), Kahlan (my #2 Legend of the Seeker character), Jennsen, Egremont (I wish that the show had not killed him off, he was truly loyal and devoted to Darken Rahl, Egremont also didn't appear to be scared of Rahl because in the episode "Bloodline" Egremont had no problem with walking towards Rahl after Rahl had killed the guard for failing to protect the Boxes of Orden), Garen (the Mord-Sith from the episodes "Walter," "Extinction," and "Tears" and another character totally loyal and devoted to Darken Rahl) Merlin: Morgana (my #1 Merlin character), Mordred (my #2 Merlin character, especially in Season 5), Arthur (especially in Season 4), Gwaine (especially in Season 3) Harry Potter: Lucius (my #1 Harry Potter character, I believe there is so much more to his character then he would ever let on, there is a mystery to him that can be explored in so many ways), Narcissa, Draco, Hermione (even though she can be annoying at times with her being so perfect and so wonderful at everything, she could do with some humbling and with someone being better than her at something), Luna, Neville, Remus, Kingsley, Regulus, Theodore, Percy, Astoria, Daphne, Scorpius, Rose (even though I didn't like how she was written in Cursed Child, I really would have liked to see her struggling with becoming an individual and having to deal with the pressures of being the child of the brilliant Hermione, plus I also hated how her relationship with Scorpius was written in Cursed Child) Star Wars: Luke Skywalker (a hero that is truly a hero because of his great nobility and compassion), Darth Vader aka Anakin Skywalker, Kylo Ren aka Ben Solo, Qui-Gon Jinn (he was a rebel Jedi but a good rebel, he had a good heart and he was one of the few Jedi who was willing to look and think outside the box), R2-D2 (there is so much that would not have been accomplished if not for this awesome droid), Firmus Piett (he must have done something right because Vader never choked him, Piett may not have been a big presence in the movies or in the novelizations of the movies but he is a wonderful character in FanFiction), General Hux, Xanatos (even though I wish his character had not been featured in books meant for a Juvenile audience because I feel like his character could have been given more depth and more time to shine in books meant for an adult audience), K-2SO (I loved his sarcasm and I just loved how he was a droid with a lot of personality but also a droid that was a good and loyal friend), Chirrut Îmwe (I loved how he didn't allow his blindness to get in the way of him being a badass and I just loved his devotion to the Force) Lord of the Rings: Gandalf (my #1 Lord of the Rings character), Eowyn, Faramir, Sam, Legolas, Gimli X-Men: Magneto (my #1 X-Men character), Pyro, Mystique Power Rangers: Tommy (MMPR, PRZ, PRT, PRDT - my #1 Power Rangers character), Katherine aka Kat (MMPR, PRZ, PRT - my #2 Power Rangers character), Kira (PRDT - my #3 Power Rangers character), Tanya (PRZ, PRT), Conner (PRDT), Billy (MMPR, PRZ), Trini (MMPR), Gasket (PRZ), Archerina (PRZ), Zeltrax (PRDT) Disney Descendants: Harry Hook, Audrey, Evie, Uma, Carlos, Jay, Gil (love both "Queen of Mean" and "What's My Name") Lion King: Scar (my #1 Lion King character and my overall favorite Disney villain), Kovu, Zira, Kiara Monk: Adrian Monk (my #1 Monk character), Natalie Teeger, Leland Stottlemeyer, Randy Disher Legend of Zelda: Ghirahim (my #1 Legend of Zelda character), Ganondorf, Link Mario: Bowser (my #1 Mario character), Yoshi, Boo, Goomba, Chain Chomp My Favorite Pairings Phantom of the Opera: Raoul/Christine (I see Love Never Dies as glorified FanFiction), Madame Giry/Phantom (mother/son and romantic/sexual relationship), Phantom/Meg, Phantom/Other Woman (if the story is well-written and plausible), Phantom/Raoul (brothers/friendship and rivalry/enemies) Legend of the Seeker: Darken Rahl/Kahlan (my #1 Legend of the Seeker pairing), Darken Rahl/Jennsen (brother/sister relationship), Darken Rahl/Keeper (twisted father/son and teacher/student relationship and rivalry/enemies), Kahlan/Cara (sisters/friendship and rivalry/enemies), Darken Rahl/Egremont (father/son and boss/worker relationship - Egremont seemed to care more for Darken Rahl than Panis Rahl ever did and I see Egremont as a substitute father figure for Darken Rahl), Darken Rahl/Garen (friendship and boss/worker relationship) Merlin: Morgana/Mordred (mother/son relationship), Arthur/Morgana (mostly brother/sister relationship but sometimes forbidden love), Lancelot/Gwen, Merlin/Gwen, Morgana/Gwen (sisters/friendship - these two suffered so much character assassination on the show and they deserve more respect), Morgana/Aithusa (these two had such a beautiful friendship that was underused on the show), Alvarr/Morgana, Agravaine/Morgana, Gwaine/Morgana, Morgause/Morgana (sisters/friendship - Morgause did use Morgana and definitely brainwashed her but Morgause was at least willing to help Morgana to control her powers) Harry Potter: Lucius/Narcissa (my #1 canon Harry Potter pairing and my #1 Harry Potter pairing overall, these two showed such loyalty and devotion to each other even in the darkest of times and they clearly respect each other), Draco/Hermione (my #1 AU Harry Potter pairing and my #2 Harry Potter pairing overall, I do not however like Lucius-bashing, Lucius may not approve of Dramione at first but he does love Draco, also Narcissa isn't going to accept Dramione easily either because she believes in blood purity just as much as her husband does, however both Lucius and Narcissa love Draco), Scorpius/Rose (if Draco and Hermione can't get together then their children can fall in love with each other, plus also see my above notes on Rose in the "My Favorite Characters" section of my profile), Draco/Astoria (I really see them as being the more casual version of the more traditional Lucius and Narcissa), Harry/Luna (Luna understands Harry in a way that no one else can), Neville/Luna (they are complete opposites from each other but they balance each other out so perfectly, besides they are both wonderful secondary characters), Neville/Hermione (there is just something cute about the way that Hermione is always helping Neville out in school), Lucius/Hermione (they are both intelligent but I like them more as a forbidden love mostly on Hermione's part because I really love Lucius/Narcissa, mostly I love a father/daughter bond or a mentor/student relationship between Lucius and Hermione that is built on a mutual respect, I also love Lucius and Hermione engaging in a battle of wits and cleverness), Abraxas/Lucius (twisted father/son relationship), Voldemort/Lucius (twisted master/servant relationship), Abraxas/Voldemort (these two are both so twisted and evil in my personal headcanon), Lucius/Severus (brother/friendship relationship that involves them being snarky and sarcastic towards each other, they do however respect each other), Lucius/Bellatrix (rivalry/enemies relationship that involves them being snarky and sarcastic towards each other), Narcissa/Draco (mother/son relationship), Lucius/Draco (father/son relationship in which Lucius is not a bastard that doesn't love his son), Theodore/Daphne (this way Theodore can be more directly linked to Draco though Draco's marriage to Daphne's sister Astoria), Daphne/Astoria (sister relationship), Theodore/Hermione (they're both smart and studious and they both love books, also Theodore is intelligent enough to challenge and humble Hermione a bit because it really would have been nice to see Hermione have to deal with a student that was her equal in brains), Lucius/Theodore (father/son and teacher/student relationship, I just think that Lucius would love Theodore for his studious and intelligent personality), Narcissa/Theodore (mother/son relationship), Draco/Theodore (brothers/friendship relationship), Narcissa/Regulus (sister/brother relationship and friendship), Lucius/Regulus (older brother/younger brother relationship and friendship), Lucius/Kingsley (they're both clever and resourceful men that know how to manipulate people and situations to achieve their goals), Lucius/Percy (just think about it, Lucius's charisma and Percy's ambition makes this pairing possible), Theodore/Luna (they both lost their mothers but no one really talks about them), Lucius/Macnair (don't ask why, I'm just weird like that) Star Wars: Darth Vader/Luke Skywalker (twisted father/son and teacher/student relationship), Darth Vader/Leia (father/daughter relationship and rivalry/enemies), Han/Leia, Luke/Leia (brother/sister relationship), Han/Luke (brothers/friendship), Luke/R2-D2 (friendship), Darth Vader/Firmus Piett (friendship and boss/worker relationship), Qui-Gon/Anakin (father/son and teacher/student relationship), Han/Kylo (father/son relationship), Leia/Kylo (mother/son relationship), Luke/Kylo (uncle/nephew and teacher/student relationship), Kylo Ren/General Hux (don't ask why, I just happen to love my villains), Kylo Ren/Captain Phasma, General Hux/Captain Phasma, Kylo Ren/General Hux/Captain Phasma (what can I say, I'm team dark side) Lord of the Rings: Faramir/Eowyn (my #1 Lord of the Rings pairing - the movies did not do them justice, their relationship and romance deserve a lot more attention), Gandalf/Saruman (brothers/friendship and rivalry/enemies - so much more could have been done with these two), Legolas/Gimli (brothers/friendship and rivalry/competitive), Gandalf/Galadriel X-Men: Magneto/Pyro (father/son and teacher/student relationship), Magneto/Mystique Power Rangers: Tommy/Katherine (my #1 Power Rangers pairing - these two both started off as evil but they soon showed that they were willing to place the needs of others before their own), Conner/Kira (my #2 Power Rangers pairing), Tommy/Hayley, Tommy/Elsa, Tommy/Zeltrax (brothers/friendship and rivalry/enemies), Tommy/Kira (mostly father/daughter and teacher/student relationship but sometimes forbidden love), Tommy/Conner/Ethan/Trent (father/son and teacher/student relationship), Conner/Kira/Ethan (general friendship), Adam/Tanya, Billy/Trini, Tommy/Trini, Katherine/Tanya (sisters/friendship), Conner/Ethan (brothers/friendship), Tommy/Billy (brothers/friendship), Zedd/Rita, Rita/Tommy (mother/son and teacher/student relationship), Zedd/Tommy (father/son and teacher/student relationship), Tommy/Goldar (brothers/friendship and rivalry/enemies), Rita/Katherine (mother/daughter and teacher/student relationship), Zedd/Katherine (father/daughter and teacher/student relationship), Gasket/Archerina (they have no problems with fighting on the front lines and they have an epic love story that screams Romeo and Juliet), Tommy/Gasket (rivalry/enemies), Katherine/Archerina (rivalry/enemies) Disney Descendants: Harry Hook/Uma (my #1 Descendants pairing), Evie/Carlos, Jay/Mal, Jay/Carlos, Evie/Doug, Evie/Ben, Jay/Lonnie, Carlos/Jane, Harry Hook/Audrey (friendship), Audrey/Uma (friendship), Evie/Audrey (friendship), general Mal/Evie/Carlos/Jay friendship, general Uma/Harry/Gil friendship Lion King: Scar/Zira, Kovu/Kiara, Scar/Mufasa (I like stories that focus on their relationship as brothers and how everything went so wrong between them), Scar/Simba (I like stories that expand on how these two characters choose to interact with each other after Simba learns that it was really Scar who killed Mufasa, basically any stories that give Lion King an AU ending in which Scar survives the battle between him and Simba), Scar/Kovu (AU stories in which Scar is Kovu's father and Scar plays a role in raising Kovu), Zira/Kovu (more positive mother/son relationship than what is portrayed in canon, despite all of Zira's hatred towards Simba I truly believe that a part of her really cared about and loved Kovu), Scar/Zira/Kovu (general family relationship), Scar/Sarabi (nothing like unrequited love to cause feelings of hatred and jealousy, plus this adds a new dimension to Scar's and Mufasa's relationship - not only was Mufasa the favorite child of his and Scar's father, Mufasa also got the girl that Scar loved and wanted), Scar/Kiara (family relationship/friendship - Kiara was the love that Kovu needed maybe she could have been the love that Scar needed as well, crossover/time-travel romance) Monk: Adrian/Trudy, Adrian/Natalie (both friendship and romantic), Adrian/Stottlemeyer (friendship), Adrian/Randy (friendship), Stottlemeyer/Randy (friendship), general Adrian/Natalie/Stottlemeyer/Randy friendship, Adrian/Ambrose (brother relationship) Legend of Zelda: Ghirahim/Link, Ghirahim/Fi, Ghirahim/Demise, Ghirahim/Ganondorf, Ganondorf/Link, Ganondorf/Zelda, Link/Zelda Mario: Bowser/Mario, Bowser/Peach, Mario/Peach My Favorite Crossover Pairings Darken Rahl/Morgana (Legend of the Seeker/Merlin - my #1 crossover pairing - these two are both twisted but they are also both misunderstood, Darken Rahl wants to be loved and not someone to be hunted and killed because of what some prophecy says and Morgana wants to be accepted for who she is, I really believe that Darken Rahl and Morgana would understand each other) Aragorn/Kahlan (Lord of the Rings/Legend of the Seeker) Kahlan/Morgana (Legend of the Seeker/Merlin - sisters/friendship and rivalry/enemies) Phantom/Morgana (Phantom of the Opera/Merlin) Phantom/Kahlan (Phantom of the Opera/Legend of the Seeker) Phantom/Darken Rahl (Phantom of the Opera/Legend of the Seeker - brothers/friendship - Phantom loves Christine but Christine loves Raoul and I truly believe that Darken Rahl loves Kahlan but Kahlan loves Richard, Phantom and Darken Rahl both really deserve someone who will love them) Faramir/Morgana (Lord of the Rings/Merlin - these two have nothing in common but they look so beautiful together in several YouTube videos that I have watched) Lucius/Morgana (Harry Potter/Merlin) - I just think that these two would look so beautiful together. Also, they are both highly ambitious (they want it all) and they are both so manipulative and twisted when it comes to getting their way. Magneto/Morgana (X-Men/Merlin) Anakin/Morgana (Star Wars/Merlin) Kylo Ren/Morgana (Star Wars/Merlin) Darken Rahl/Christine (Legend of the Seeker/Phantom of the Opera) Lucius/Christine (Harry Potter/Phantom of the Opera) Lucius/Morgana (Harry Potter/Merlin) FanFiction Challenges I Have Written For Harry Potter Challenges: alyssialui's Twister Challenge TeddyRemusPotter's Variety Challenge FanFiction Awards I Have Received Harry Potter Awards: Mirror (Winner of Fanfiction Booker prize 2014 for AU fic) The Dead Babies Series (Harry Potter) Summary: The stillborn and the miscarriages that Narcissa suffered before finally giving birth to Draco.
