Have to say that I love this story of yours and it’s prequel episode 4 the dark assassin ever since I read it over the last few years, but haven’t had a account to comment until very recently.

Have to say that this is probably my favourite star wars alternative take on the OT of all time. As your writing is just absolutely superb and an utter delight to read as to how evocative and provocatively it is in nailing characterisations of characters old and new bang on the head whilst telling a gloriously brilliant second story of Luke the assassin alongside the centre narrative of the OT series.

Loved this latest chapter and sorry Piett given the power of the spectre’s weaponry and Artoo’s mechanical skills you need to cancel said cell altogether as nobody will be filling it. Eagerly looking forward to the next chapter and seeing how Vader reacts to Luke’s rejection of his offer to rule the galaxy as father and son and decision to stay in the light. Wonder if Luke will try to persuade his father to return to the light or is that saved for episode six.

Curious to know if Mara will survive Bespin and turn up in later stories as have been living her and Luke’s interactions?

This is an amazing story... VADERS SO COOL! And Luke is absolutely amazing. The Luke/Leia relationship is so pure... i can’t bear not being able to finish this story, so please, please update! I will die without peace if I’m not able to finish this!

Omg, I'm SOOOOO glad to see an update! Had to read the entire story again so I could remember exactly what happened in previous chapters.

I'm so sorry about the job, being laid off sucks big time. Hoping that you'll be able to find another one really soon! And I am sorry to hear that you've been so sick lately. Upper respiratory infections are no fun. Be sure to keep the air in your home moisturized with either a humidifier, or you can boil water in a large pot to get the moisture in the air. Or you can turn on the shower to its hottest setting and sit in the bathroom with the door shut and breathe in the steam. You should increase your fluid intake, too. Drink lots of warm things like tea and soup to help clear your lungs and sinuses. If you take cold medicine, stay away from anything that Vicks makes, that suff is deadly! Mucinex-D is a really good medicine to use because it has an expectorant in it, so it helps to thin the mucus so your body requires less effort to cough it up, it won't get stuck deep down in your lungs and the decongestant helps with clogged sinuses. To get to sleep easier at night while you're sick, you can try taking 3mg of melatonin and the supplement 5-HTP a half hour before bed. The 5-HTP is the stuff in turkey meat that makes you feel really relaxed and sleepy after eating it. The supplement L-Lysine (I think that's how it's spelled) is an amino acid and is really great for immune support, as is Vitamin C. For muscular aches, you can soak in an Epsom salt bath, or you can buy Epsom salt lotion and massage it into sore muscles.

Can you tell I work in the medical field? Lol. Anyway, this last chapter was short, but amazing as always. You perfectly depicted Luke's struggle between his loyalty to his friends and wanting to go with the father he'd never known. He's finally found out the truth about both of his parents. And yes, he did kill old Pajama Robes in anger and out of revenge, but after what Luke's been through I think he deserved to mete out justice to that old crone! It's too bad Palpatine's suffering ended so quickly. I would have loved to see him struggling to hold on to life and then hear the blood gurgling in his lungs as he suffocates in his own fluids. Uh, so yeah, I definitely have a darker side myself, lol. You're not alone, Luke! But the fact is that he didn't turn to the dark after Palpatine died. Yes, his fate remains undecided for now, but I know he'll do the right thing and help to get his friends and Mara - who Tank obviously rescued from the weather vane on Cloud City's underbelly - the hell out of there! Luke and Vader can hash out their issues with each other later.

Oh, I bet Mara is super PISSED now that old Palpy is dead, and will want to take revenge on Luke for killing her master.

Get well soon, and the chapter may have been short, but it was sort of like a cliffhanger on all the characters positions. The millinium falcon and revenant are caught, Luke is having an internal debate, and everyone else is freaking out except typho. He’s having fun blowing the executor up.

Seriously though, you've done a fantastic job; the plot is riveting, the characters are amazing and really seem alive with consistent personalities and character development, you're writing is phenomenal, and my only complaint, aside from those about your horrid decision to leave us on a cliffhanger for two years (I actually forced myself to leave the Star Wars fandom alone for a while because so much time was going in between updates and I was torturing myself with constant checking. I eventually stopped thinking about your fics for a while until I was reminded and came back, cackling madly in delight when I saw the increased chapter count.)...wait no, that actually is my only complaint. I fucking adore the fact that Fade's name for Luke is 'Friend', it took me until you started capitalizing 'Friend' to realize that she wasn't just using it as, description I guess, but that she was actually using it as a name for Luke. This is an awesome fic and I really want to read how it ends. Please.
