I'm pro-choice, but I have conservative family members. Having a husband and three kids, I know exactly what Ginny is going through.

It's so nice to see real life incorporated in this story. You make the characters very human and thus easier to relate to, even when they're being complete dicks.

If hermione even so much as entertains the thought of Blaise’s proposal I’m going to flip! There’s already enough slytherin betrayals happening with the Malfoys, and if she goes on that date with Blaise then her character is stupid and inconsistent

Draco came around in a room that reminded him of hospital wing of Hogwarts.
He couldn't really move much. Glancing down he saw below his lower abdomen he was heavily bandaged.
'Good morning Mister Malfoy!' a very familiar bushy haired brunette 'nurse' exclaimed opening a door. The term nurse Draco used only loosely in his head, as he doubted any actual muggle nurses would wear a uniform that short or THAT revealing.
Or made of those muggle materials that had no wizarding counterparts .. ah yes he remembered now latex, spandex & that PCV plastic stuff that Blaise was always raving on about.
The 'Nurse Danger' badge completed the bizarre spectacle. She was also ridiculously chirpy which wasn't normal for Dang .. , err, Granger.
'Those strong pain numbing potions will be wearing off soon' she stated.
'What potions?!' Draco said breaking his silence.
'The ones you had after your castration of course!' she smirked.
Malfoy junior was beyond horrifically aghast. Castration would mean a total end to the family line. All his surviving French cousins were females.
'Wwwhaart!' he managed to splutter out 'YOU HAVE REMOVED MY TESTICLES!?'
'OH, of course or NOT!' replied Granger. Draco breathed a sigh of relief. It had all been a hideously bizarre prank ..
'*I* didn't touch you. Hagrid did the actual operation - he's had plenty of practice on problem thestrals. And unfortunately he was a little heavy handed with the meat cleaver, kebab skewers & that rusty spoon" she continued with a bigger grin spreading "And it wasn't just your testicles - he accidentally removed your entire genitalia!' holding up a clear muggle bag containing some very familiar organs to Draco's face.
Totally speechless his hand shot to his wrapped groin - only to find it empty of contents.
'Perhaps you'll be less aggressive and nasty now?' she quipped & left, her shapely thong clad arse swaying as she did so.
Not that the former Slytherin school'boy' had anything left to appreciate that very sexy sight.

Epilogue: After losing he wedding tackle, Draco realized he hadn't the intelligence, qualifications, patience or temperament to ever be a teacher. Being laughed at for 'his' lack of manhood & being referred to as 'the cockless monster' behind his back was another reason. Generations of Gryffindore students yet to come breathed a huge sigh of relief.
So young 'Ms' Malfoy put her lack of missing organs to best effect, grew her white blonde hair long & joined the muggle drag scene. S/he went to appear in several muggle moving pictures - which caused Lucius to choke to death on his morning bacon, when it became scandalously revealed on the Daily Prophet front page.

oK so evey now and then i just go and reread some chapters again and again because everything about this fic is so peRFECT. this is one of my fave chapters! you're so great at conveying cute and funny scenes i LOVE IT SO MUCH that bit about the pretty and beautiful is such a great line

I LOVE this intro! Such a mature look at ending a relationship with love and grace and none of the usual silly melodrama!

I love the way you wrote the difficult discussions about the war & Hermione’s torture between the members of the Malfoy family and Hermione. It is such an important topic for them to discuss in order to move forward, and I think this is my favourite depiction of that conversation in all of the fics that I’ve read!

I am LOVING this so far. I appreciate how you depict Draco as flawed and childish. He reminds me of the Draco in the books (and not the overly romanticized Draco in some other fics). It just feels like a really realistic older version of Draco. Can’t wait to see how their relationship develops!

Thank you for such an enjoyable read. The last 2 days I have been sucked into this world. It's so rich and well written and after 83 chapters I feel like a limb has been cut off now there is no more. I feel guilty only reviewing now, but I was so keen to hit next chapter I couldn't review midway and after 83 chapters I feel like my one review will not be enough to convey to you how much I have loved every word. Your banter between the characters has made me grin from ear to ear. The gradual build up of Dracos and Hermiones relationship has been so well paced and pure fire. There's been so many moments I have loved I cant list them all, one of the earlier chapters where I knew that I was reading a fabulous story and was excited to see what the next 60 odd would bring was when Hermione took the ring off his finger. I felt like the build up to that scene made the emotions of that moment so hard hitting and perfectly executed you had me feeling so heart broken for her. I've become so invested in the complex relationships you have created between all the different characters not just Draco and Hermione. I hope that your muse does look towards this story again as you have built something amazing here. If however this work remains unfinished I want to thank you for all you have written.
