When I was fourteen, I deleted all of those fics, because they were absolutely dreadful, although I recently found a notebook with a few of them in it. I may post them one day just so you can see how much I've progressed since sixth grade, because, holy hell, they were dreadful. Anyway, the point of my writing nowadays is to bring more diversity into fanfiction, and the world of writing in general. That means more neuroatypical, queer, POC characters. Basically, I don't want to write a single fic with just cishet white neurotypical characters. Which generally means you can assume that everyone is queer unless stated otherwise, and Harry, James, and Hermione will never be white. I mean never. And you can probably expect Sirius to be ace and Remus to be some combination of poly, bisexual/romantic, and trans. It's just the little things. They're fun and more realistic to write that way. None. No romance for him. I've stated that several times. Second of all, Hermione won't even be a super major character in this fic. She will be in it, sure, and she has a purpose in it, but she is not majorly important. Stop requesting that I leave her out, because that irritates me on a personal level. Speaking of personal levels, I first started the HP series when I was five or six. I am sixteen now. For these past ten or eleven years, Hermione Granger has been a role model to me, and I do not condone people talking shit about her. Valid criticism of her character, yes, every character can be criticised, but she was not written to be perfect. None of the characters were, that's why they're relatable. As a side note, the entire time I have loved the series, I have loved the thought of Harry and Hermione being together as more than friends, ever since the first book. Now, that obviously didn't become canon, but you can bet your ass that I'll write a Harmony fic in the future. That's just not this one. Because I made the decision a long time ago that Harry would be aromantic, so I didn't have to deal with comments on ships like I am now. So just, please, keep your anti ship requests out of my reviews, I want this to be a happy place, I don't want to see ship bashing, if I did then I would share my thoughts on the canon ships, but I'm being mature about it since I know people do love the canon ships.
