I really enjoy your work. I've only read up to here, but I can see that you're a very good writer. With the whole 'Sirius being intoxicated so he doesn't have control over his actions' thing, I agree with you on the point that it's not an excuse. They do say that drunk actions are sober thoughts, so yeah.

I do hope you'll come back to this story. maybe wrap up the early childhood phase in a chapter or two then write a sequel? idk but I really enjoy your writing style and I'm curious how you imagine the events of Harry's Hogwarts years and the second wizarding war in this scenario. With Harry growing up with loving parents and little sisters, Sirius being known innocent, Wormtail out of the picture and Severus unable to spy on Voldemort, alot would change even if the outcome would most likely be the same.

Found this story and made it to this chapter before wanting to make a commit. A) i love this story so far because I HATE the Marauders with a passion. 2) This chapter end with Black got to me. Why is it loathsome creeps like Black have women falling for him yet the nice guy women say they want (like Neville) can't get a date?

Loved this explanation about Lily's relationship with James. Thank goodness she is slowly letting herself be honest about how much of a creep James was. So sweet that she thought she and Sev would've ended up a couple if that friendship-split hadn't happened.
