Author has written 24 stories for Pokémon, Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy VIII, Star Wars, Breath of Fire, Final Fantasy I-VI, One Piece, Inuyasha, Blood+, and Witcher/Wiedźmin, Andrzej Sapkowski. About Me To be honest, I'm not quite sure what to put here since - I think - most of what you might want to know about me can be extrapolated from the list of stories I have published so far. But I suppose a bit of redundancy can't hurt: I have been into fanfiction for a number of years now (a little over a decade, on and off), and am active in a number of fandoms, mainly Star Wars, One Piece and Final Fantasy. I do, however, follow many more than those, having recently rekindled my love for The X-Files (a few one shots may follow). While I don't think that my writing style is anything to be proud of (I am not a native English speaker, after all), I especially enjoy well written fiction. Too many grammatical and orthographical mistakes can easily turn me off, just like protagonists acting too out of character. Last but not least: I'm a compulsive writer, which means that I do not follow a strict writing schedule but rather sit down when I feel like it. Then, however, I tend to finish what I start, often resulting in 10-14 hour writing marathons. What you receive as an update then is mostly what I publish at the end of that night, so the occasional mistake or two may make it in there. To add to that: I'm an educator by trade (an M.A. in English/English Lit and Linguistics being the basis for my professional life) and have precious little free time, much less than I would like. Hence, I am usually quite busy during the semester and often have a hard time squeezing in writing hours. As most people on here, I write because I feel the urge to, because I'd like to see my thoughts in writing and want to find out how they will develop once I free them onto the digital page. That is, of course, not to say that I don't care for reviews: like all writers, I am quite flattered and encouraged by any feedback I am given. So, please, always feel free to let me know what you think. NEWS, October 30th, 2012 Although I am currently not updating on a regular basis, I am still primarily working on "Signature". As of today, it clocks in at 14 chapters, and as I see it, the story will take up at least another 10, potentially even more. For that matter, most of the plot has already been drafted while the next 4 chapters (15-18) have been planned in detail. Nevertheless, I always appreciate any sort of input from you guys. "Home is Where You Are" is currently on hiatus, but will be picked up again once I get other things out of the way. There may also be more additions to "Complementary Circumstances"; but I have yet to catch up with an insane amount of unwatched episodes. Should any further questions arise, feel free to contact me and I'll try to get back to you as soon as possible. |
