You were a plant, a woman, a little kid, an old man, a drunken loser, a tree, and a lamp post!" Poor, poor Faye. You actually have me wanting them to get together. Boy, you sure can twist my stupidly swayable emotions, can't you? And yay! She found him. Good for her. Now, how this next scene will play out should be interesting. Guesses: Spike and Kei simply MUST fight, so I hope you enjoy writing action sequences. I mean, if Spike, who's been lusting for Faye all day, saw another man encroaching, he'd get pretty pissed. Plus, she's nearly crying, and upon seeing him, realistically would have started crying. And what does a man do when he sees the woman he's currently "in love with" crying because of another man? He beats the crap out of him. Then, I wonder if Faye will get ahold of herself or if she'll be, um...seduced by him. (can't wait to find out *wink wink*) Nice chapter. Don't worry about focusing on something other than humor every once in a while. My fic sure seems to stray from the path...a LOT, and head into more serious territory. The readers, if they're even worth your time, won't have a problem with it, and could even enjoy the refreshing change of pace (though your humor is top notch, so don't take that the wrong way) Until chapter 9, this is TwistedCyberChick saying namarie... |
