I'm Az.

I have an eclectic mix of favourite stories. Some are filled with so much drama, and then some are just so fluffy. It completely depends on my mood. One thing I am definitely not a fan of, are stories where there is unnecessary drama, or non-stop drama. I know life isn't a picnic but it's not always a funeral, y'know?

I got into the Fanfic scene quite late, when I fell in love with a little show called 'South of Nowhere'. From there, I trekked backwards to shows Popular, Xena, Buffy, Once and Again, The O.C. etc. etc. And also, while yes, I am gay, and therefore very fond of reading woman/woman pairings, I am very open to reading stories with man/woman pairings. As my Favourite Stories list shows, I can be a big fan of a heterosexual pairing, as long as it's written well, and that when it comes down it, there is only love.

I don't know how to describe myself as a person and really, I don't know how I come off to you as you're reading this, but I can tell you that my intentions are good and never, ever malicious. Any mistake I do make is my own to bear. Unless I say so, any offense made is never intended. But I try not to be offensive for the most part.

English isn't my first language and while I think I'm pretty adequate at it, I still have trouble with it sometimes. I try to avoid the grammar and spelling mistakes as best as I can by proof-reading before posting a chapter, but I am only human and will most likely make a mistake or two from time to time. I always, always appreciate constructive criticism. I do not like flaming, especially if it's not supported. I like to think that I am always open to discussion about anything.

I write simply for the joy of it. If people happen to like what I post, I'd still be happy about it too. Writing is my way of spreading my joy, I guess. It is what I love to do the most out of anything, and I hope that people can see that. Of course, I do hope people enjoy reading my work but everybody is entitled to their own opinion, right?

To add to that, as a reviewer, I completely suck, lol. I mean, I love to leave reviews. But I love leaving long, elaborate reviews about which part of the chapter I like, and my own thoughts/theories about the story and where it might be going. I'll even review the things I don't like. And that's probably why I suck at it. Because I know I want to leave long reviews but I hardly have the time. So please do not take offense if I favourite your story or put it on story alert and almost never review. It's a problem I am trying to remedy though, so please be patient with me.
