Author has written 34 stories for Once and Again, O.C., House, M.D., Generation Dead, Glee, Pitch Perfect, Carmilla, 100, Pretty Little Liars, TV X-overs, and Dear White People. "If the doors of perception were cleansed we might see the world as it is: infinite."-William Blake "I do not think that the only way to show courage is to face the world alone."-Charlotte Rogan Fanfic ideas I haven't written cause they're ridiculous & I don't really want to write them: Small bits: I smirk more than smile and willingly admit I'm composed of a lot of contradictions. IE: really don't enjoy yoga but my clothes give an impression I do it often, love to watch the USWNT play soccer but don't like to play. Wish I read more books, wish people weren't so painfully moronic, and as my aunt said in a voicemail I'll never delete-"you mentioned something about how you got a taser...so try not to hate everyone today." (I am very anti-gun.) Literally told friends-you know I'm a considerate bitch like that. But as time goes on I'm realizing I prefer to spend time with my dogs (more than people, but am forced to socialize since I work in a library), watch movies (if you want a recommendation simply ask) and I feel a sense of accomplishment having finally finished my novella which will likely go unpublished. Adore Joss Whedon's concept that "family are the people that treat you like family. Period." In turn I don't adhere to any religion, I don't pray, though I think it's a nice sentiment. In an abstract way god seems to be a therapist to most people. I love people who exude kind hearts, intelligence, creativity, funny & non-judgmental attitudes. If you have all 4 traits I kind of fall-in-like. There are a million things I am & a million things I'm not. You can ask me anything, but I may not answer it. Thanks you for reading any of my stories. I cringe when anyone says lots of feels. I love coming across writing I wish I had written. Overall I enjoy my life (I've been very lucky even if it may have forced me to have an old soul) sometimes Airbnb bookings manage to pay for my monthly mortgage, wish I traveled more, eventually want to really downsize and live in a van I've almost finished building the interior for dwelling-stealth style & I'm a fan of world peace. Caved & got into social media a little...my twitter is PlaceForAnEcho. More or less tracks where I'm traveling. Mostly pictures of my dog & political things I care about. Daily I feel like screaming and crying at the current politics and emotionally brace myself whenever I check the Twitter news feed...what horrific thing happened in the world today or as Samantha Bee sings "what's gonna happen in the world today-something terrible." When I read books I pick phrases & bits I think would make great toasts even if it involves altering things: "May you grow into every hero, defeat every villain, and show kindness to every misunderstood monster."-The Unfinished World "To giving away laughter freely, to learning how to love, and to living honestly."-Infinite Home "If we cannot move heaven let us stir up the underworld"-manipulated words to Virgil "To treating honesty with value versing something to be tolerated. May we promote honesty."-inspired by Blackout To adventure. May we "continually be jumping off cliffs and developing our wings on the way down."-Kurt Vonnegut May we "be something every minute of every hour and dream all the time so that no piece of living is ever lost" and may we be lucky enough to wake to the sound of laughter. -A Tree Grows in Brooklyn Enjoy yourself. C'est la vie. |
