bidyys chapter 20 . 3/29
OK, I generally only leave reviews at the end of a story, but I must break this self imposed rule.

If you have ever endured a meal prepared by you boyfriend, girlfriend, husband, or wife that did not turn out as desired, then you must simply be enchanted by this chapter.

If you have not experienced such an evening then you have something to look forward to.

You are so very talented and your attention to the slightest detail is totally enchanting.

I look forward to the rest of you story.
Jehfret chapter 28 . 10/21/2019

anunleashedmind chapter 17 . 6/11/2018
You have mastered the use of the English language so beautifully. you manipulate words and create phrases and images that leave me stunned and breathless and feeling so much. All through this story, the way you tell it and show it is simply beautiful.
anunleashedmind chapter 10 . 6/10/2018
Chapter 9 was heartbreaking to read as was chapter 10, but in a messed up glorious way because there is beauty in those words you write.
anunleashedmind chapter 2 . 6/10/2018
Chapter two was just as amazing and poetic as chapter one. There is so much emotion in this fic
anunleashedmind chapter 1 . 6/10/2018

Justonemore chapter 28 . 2/3/2018
Geezussss. This was so damn good. Like completed a 6 week crash diet and just dove into a double fudge brownie ala mode good. Your grasp and beautiful manipulation of the English language has me equal parts of unhinged jaw awe and violently envious. I truly hope to read more of your work one day.

"She is the moment of still after a whispered prayer, the rush of air from an opened door, the first meeting of head to pillow. She is what's underneath my words, what's behind my thoughts. She is everywhere inside of me."

"As though I am separate, safely encircled and beautifully hidden from clocks and time and all forms of inevitability. She is my dream within a dream."

I mean, C'MON! *slow clap still in progress

This is a beautiful, thought out, gorgeous, deep story. Thank you for writing it. It took days to read and was a treasure to come across. You understand these characters well and also made them a bit you're own w frannie and Judy. The details of this fix were great. Again-thanks for creating & sharing.

I like having a ch from frannie's perspective. I love that in the previous ch you basically state Quinn can dismantle the literary elite but enjoys bad puns cause frankly they're sometimes endearing. I like that chapters ago you had Quinn say she lives words and basically their power but she can still trip over them because honestly Dianna Agron in interviews is adorable and does she same though in my opinion she's a talented, effective writer. I love that Rachel constantly wants to console frannie and Quinn when their mother arrives and I adore that she gets the music notes Quinn has composed that starts it all.

This: Garbo, Doris Day, Fred Astaire, Audrey Hepburn, Elizabeth Taylor, James Dean, Marlon Brando, and (my heart stutters) Judy Garland.

It's a weakness of mine, a huge, thumping dead-weight of a weakness; how strongly I respond to the idea of old Hollywood. To a time where glamour and giftedness were framed in flashing lights and artists worked themselves to the bone just to give audiences a glimmer of everything their bodies knew how to do.

Strangely a few days ago I was telling my sister I love Adele because she has so much talent and how people don't need to have talent like they did during hollywoods golden era that ironically included a black list and censorship. But I'm surprised you didn't mention Ginger Rogers while mentioning Fred Astaire. And clark gable always makes me think of the postal service song (in case you haven't heard it): I kissed you in a style Clark gable would have admired, I thought it classic.

My favorite thing about this chapter was Rachel catching glimpses of Lucy and realizing she's actually Quinn's baseline/core. I loved the little thought of oh hell there.
WonderousPlaceForAnEcho chapter 19 . 1/18/2017
Jesus Christ this is just too much. It's of course fiction because it's endearing as hell and the glee writers were not that creative. But god this is great: "You.. you hum 'Belle' whenever you're waiting in line at the cafeteria.."

My fingertips trace over the surprised sag of Rachel's jaw and the fact that I have managed to shock her so fills me with a heady surge of happiness. I twist a strand of Rachel's hair back into place and smile knowingly.

"And..come on, a beautiful and intelligent woman yearning to break free from the small town she lives in? Belle is so totally your Disney princess."

Love how observant Quinn is. She was on the show and its realistic here because she didn't talk much on the show. And yeah-Dianna Agron in jeans/pants was always nice.
(I'm psyched for the live action, Emma Watson beauty and the best. Hell the trailer was so brief and brilliantly crafted.)
Also forgot to mention this may seem fave paced that they proclaim love in 2 weeks but it's not with these characters because Rachel has been waiting and Quinn had been holding back for years that it makes sense they would in a way crash together.
WonderousPlaceForAnEcho chapter 17 . 1/18/2017
Freaking hell. Multiple things to note: Rihanna has a nice voice but I think her talent was most expressed that she has an emotional range with the song stay. The guy in my opinion is more heartfelt but God I cannot sing to that song without enjoying how my chest feels tighter.
Forgot the piano duet from corpse bride is really good because I didn't like the movie. Personally I think Burton peeked at big fish which I love because it's not his usual formula. But loved the duet I found on YouTube of people with skeletal painted hands.
And Neruda. God damn that man. Honest man. (Literally wrote a 1 shot fic because I loved a line of his and it's the opening conversation.)
The line about Rachel being the pearl and Quinn knows she's the oyster holding her was simply great and nothing short of brilliant.

And I loved this:Her performances are so effortless, or, of course, that's how she makes them seem. I know that they are not, I know how hard she works, I know the costs. But still.. they are perfection, absolute, and all without the need for messy or extravagant runs.
I have a friend who is 60 something (I hate math & am allergic to numbers) and we've discussed how disgustingly talented Lea Michele is and it's clear because she makes
Singing look easy. Effortless. And it's such a lie because that woman has spent countless hours on her talent. Great chapter.
WonderousPlaceForAnEcho chapter 16 . 1/18/2017
Really enjoy the depth and range that you describe playing a piano. Also amusing because I put moonlight sonata on repeat and listened to it while sleeping/half sleeping on a 7 hr flight. But I love that beautiful/stunning things can bring pain to Quinn but how Rachel redirects her bad memories and possibly gives her new ones. If you get the chance watch the end dance scene to high strung-it's not a piano but anyone who can make an interment have a soul or express its soul in my opinion is talent. Also it has some great ballet with a lot of attitude.

Another part to this I liked is it's very obvious Quinn should sit down and form a list and contact the schools. It's actually simple by tedious. It's shown well that she very smart but overwhelmed and needs Rachel to help her and that was very realistic.
