Yes, I do think that would be a good idea, because I like it and you're clearly talented, but it does turn a bit... How do I put this... CSI: Miami towards the ends, losing all subtlety. It can work, but not if you go from swimming lessons to city-wide manhunt with imminent death on the line. Maybe try something a bit less ambitious.

I don't know rewrites are usually a mess and a entirely different story.

In what way were you not satisfied with the story?
Personally, I enjoyed it a lot, but if you're not happy with it and feel like you can do it differently/better, go ahead :)
I'd say, more fluff, more angst, more slow burning. Ya know, the usual, lol.
I really should start writing again.. *sighs*

Honestly it's up to you. You can abandoned this story or rewrite it that's fine.

I for one was really enjoying the storyline so mostly I just hope you figure out a story line that you you like and let’s you finish it! :)
