![]() Author has written 23 stories for Legend of Korra. Hey, everyone! Since it's been a while that I joined FFN, I think it's about time that I write something about myself here. I'm a 24-year old student, currently studying biology. I started out my love for fanfiction on the Avatar Wiki, where I read Fruipit's Drive-Ins, something I have never forgiven her for not finishing. After chatting with her about it for a bit, she recommended Elsa is Suffering to me, which I still consider my favorite story, even though it's not here on FFN, only on FP. Afterwards, I decided to combine my love for that story and the Legend of Korra into one, and created Team Player. That is what I really consider the start of my writing career here, even though I have written some stories before that. Probably because of those two, I mostly enjoy reading AU's. I always find that seeing what authors do with worldbuilding and such to be more interesting than self-inserts or OC's in other worlds. And for lack of a better word, continuations of the story proper often feel a bit.. fanfic-y. Hypocritical, I know, but I hope you get the point. Enjoy the stories! As you've probably deduced from that brief history lesson, I have a particular soft spot for Korrasami, but that's not the entire story, so in the interest of time, I'll just put my main ships up in a list: 1. Korrasami (LoK) 2. Kainora (LoK) 3. Elsanna (Frozen) That being said, this is just my top three. There are more, including Korra/Opal, Jinora/Opal (Ziraseal wrote some excellent stories with this pairing), Kuvira/Suyin, and many others that don't include Mako. Everything including him in the main ship, I skip, because of my particular hatred for him. Outside of The Legend of Korra and Frozen, I don't really read a lot of fanfiction, but I do enjoy shows like House of Cards and Sons of Anarchy. I'm also a sucker for cars and aircraft, particularly WWII planes. Sexiest machines ever made, if you ask me. Alright, time for some technicals on the stories I have written or am still writing: The Divided Republic: My first story, probably never going to finish it. I've lost interest in the genre, and looking back, it would require major rewriting before I'd consider it something I'd publish again now. Team Player: My first real story, and the first one that I'm actually still happy with. It's finished, and I'm not going to change that. I've written a few seperate one-shots, but I don't think I'm going to write many more of those. If you want to know more of my thoughts on the story, I've done an interview with Tono555 about it, you can find that on the Avatar Wiki, in the Fanon Portal. All Are Equal: The drugdealer!Jinora fic. The idea came to me over the course of Team Player, where everyone has money, so I also wanted to do a story where everyone is stuck at the bottom end of society. Probably not going to write something like this again, because I found it pretty hard to write likable criminals. The Avatar's Mistress: My biggest smutfic. I mostly wrote this one to prove that I can, there's no real point to this one. Part of the reason I wrote it was to coerce KorraFaangirl into drawing the titular character for me, which she did, thank you very much. The Callgirl: Unfortunately discontinued before I finished it. I stumbled upon an insurmountable flaw baked into the premise that I didn't realize until ten chapters in, so I had to shelve it. Still, it has Korrasami smut, so please enjoy. Who We Are: My current secondary story, and also my first real Kainora story (All Are Equal doesn't really count). The only reason this can move faster than The Callgirl is because these chapters aren't as massive. Mornings Are Evil: My Korrasami one-shots. Sometimes I get an idea, and unless I write it, it drowns out all other writing I can do. This is where the ones end up that I actually finish. Also, when people have earned my gratitude, they can earn themselves a prompt which I will put up here. She's a Pirate: Flowed from Mornings Are Evil, the Pirate AU Korrasami story. Complete by now. Sequel promised, but may be postponed indefinitely to make room for another story, mostly because the ideas for it just won't come. Some Day They'll Go Down Together: My current story, loosely based on the 1967 Bonnie and Clyde. That pretty much speaks for itself, and please don't ask me about how it's going to end, because I just don't know. |
