So this story was written like 11 years ago and for some reason I had a random memory that made me come hunt it down. I'm not even sure you'll read this but I figured if I went through all the trouble of re-reading the whole thing I should probably leave a comment. Anyways, I was 15 the first time I read this and I think it stuck because it so perfectly encapsulated my teenage life growing up in NC. Now I'm older and actually have had gfs and experiences and idk this still just brings me back to those days when I was young and lived life through stories like these..one day hoping it'd be my reality. Anyways, I'm glad this hasn't been lost to the internet forever. If you're still writing I'd love to follow you on tumblr or ao3 or something.
