Author has written 32 stories for Metal Fight Beyblade/メタルファイト ベイブレード, Pokémon, Final Fantasy VII, Kingdom Hearts, Rise of the Guardians, Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V, Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL, Power Rangers, and Pegasus, Kate O'Hearn. Hi! ...er, well, what else do you say here? I really didn't think this through before I decided to do something with this empty profile... ANYWAYS! Name's Sharkey52, or just Sharkey. Or Sharkie. Or Sharkmister as one of my friends insists upon calling me. I'm not exactly new here, just not sure what to do with a profile. Meh. Ignoring the rambling, I'm just your average teenage fanfiction-loving weirdo. But weirdo's a good thing! If there weren't weirdos, who would be left to be normal? If you have ever walked into a room then forgot what you were doing, then started walking away then remebered, copy this into your profile. He he! Just had to add that. Because it happens to me all the time! And the amount of times I've had a brilliant spark of inspiration in a lesson but the second I'm in front of a computer I can't think for the life of me what it was! Grrr, that's so annoying! Oh, and just so you know, I do most of my writing on the family iPad, meaning spelling and grammar errors are an unfortunate reality - as iPads lack the red or green swiggly lines that tell you when you've got something wrong. Hence my many spelling and grammatical errors. Just a heads-up. Well, sorry for wasting your time with my attempts at introducing myself. I just hope you'll enjoy the stories I write. Ciao! My stories: Pokémon: Protector of Silence: Kellyn has always had one dream, to become a Pokemon Ranger. Along with his friends: overconfident Keith, positive Rhythmi, day-dreamer Kate, mysterious Starlight and his partner pokémon Luna, he takes on both the challenges of Ranger School and a deeper challenge that lies within himself. Will his late brother's past come back to haunt Kellyn, or can he prove he too can be a hero? /人 ‿‿ 人\ Protector of Loyalty: Sequel to Protector of Silence. Decades have passed since Operation Brighton, and it's time for a new generation to step forward. Summer's wanted to be a ranger all her life - with her parentage, what else would she ever want to be? She has a great legacy to follow, but unanswered questions in her life are back to haunt her, Oblivia and perhaps even the ones she loves the most. /人 ‿‿ 人\ Always Watching: Part of the Protector of Silence verse. Ever wonder what Lunick was thinking during Chapter 32? Well, here's a little peep into his mind during those hours. /人 ‿‿ 人\ The Poor Aching Fourth Wall: After a series of breakings of The Fourth Wall, Arceus' disgruntled messenger deals out a lesson in fiction to characters and fanfic writers alike. Take note, there are sentient walls involved. *Belongs somewhere in the Protector series, but not to be taken too seriously* /人 ‿‿ 人\ Is it Leslie?: Spin-off one-shot of Protector of Silence. Just a bit of pointless character development featuring some familiar OCs. - In which Hwita gets as giddy as a drunk person, Owari stresses about imbalances, Reo sulks and Azrael drinks a latte. /人 ‿‿ 人\ Holiday Spirit: Protector of Silence mini-sequel. All the peeps with no place to go in Fiore meet up at Kate's for the holidays. Shenanigans ensue as Kate tries to handle her house guests, Rhythmi tries to understand Jewish festivals, Murph searches for an escape from jet lag, Percy searches for some sanity and Keith searches for a little something else. /人 ‿‿ 人\ A Matter of Size: Set after Protector of Silence. Keith returns to the Ranger Union after a six month mission. Cool as he is, he wasn't at all prepared for the sort of stuff that can happen to people in the span of six months. *This* isn't at all cool. /人 ‿‿ 人\ Fight for Freedom: Based on the plot of Tomorrow When The War Began. When Solana takes some classmates into the bush for a weekend, they have no idea upon returning home they must fight to protect their lives, their families and each other... /人 ‿‿ 人\ Common Traits: The first of my ranger one-shots. Vatona and Nage go shopping, Keith and Ben embark on a quest, Kellyn reads a newspaper and Lunick gets really mad...what common trait brought these events together? /人 ‿‿ 人\ Cluedo Calamities: Another ranger one-shot. What do the top rangers do when they're bored? Play board games of course! Throw in an over-excited Vatona, a grumpy Nage, a LOT of middle names and 'Mr Grey', and you get a crazy random one-shot. /人 ‿‿ 人\ Bowling Blues: More randomness from the rangers. The rangers, Isaac, Rhythmi, Vatona and Nage go bowling at Spenser's request. What's the worst that could happen? Er... /人 ‿‿ 人\ Wake up Attempts: How does Crystal get the other dexholders up in the morning? A little one-shot to answer this question. Rated for Crystal and Gold putting Gold's seemingly-indestructible billiard cue to 'good use'. /人 ‿‿ 人\ Beyblade - Metal Saga: The Light and Darkness Chronicles: After the events of the World Championships, all the bladers are settling into a normal routine. But when Hyoma starts have nightmares prophesying the resurrection of an evil bey, Hikaru and Tsubasa aid him in a fight to save their world. /人 ‿‿ 人\ Final Fantasy: Take Care: It was just an ordinary day for Marlene, helping Tifa out in the bar as usual. Denzel changed that, and as did the promise she vowed she would never break. /人 ‿‿ 人\ Kingdom Hearts: Snow Fall: Snow is like light, Ven thinks. Drabble. /人 ‿‿ 人\ Rise of the Guardians: Of pencils and fiction: In which Jamie looses some pencils, the summer spirits get revenge, Jack is both bored and angry and North is very exasperated. A possibly missing some hair. /人 ‿‿ 人\ Of snowballs, wings and sandals of all things!: Normal: The usual, average or typical state of condition of something. Not normal: This day that boggles the minds of everyone - even that of Jack Frost apparently! Crossover with Kate O'Hearn's Pegasus series. /人 ‿‿ 人\ Power Rangers: Moving out and onward: No longer baring ranger powers and growing up from being naïve teenagers, five former rangers seek for a new adventure in their lives. Moving into a single apartment together seems like a good idea. Cam has a feeling he's not going to survive this year. (Set between Dino Thunder and Operation Overdrive, because what do a team of retired rangers do all day anyway?) /人 ‿‿ 人\ Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V: Some House Party: Yuzu wakes up after a party she threw whilst her dad and Yuya were away. Now she and whoever's still here have an hour to make it appear as if nothing had ever happened. Hear that? It appears to be the sound of Yuzu's impeding doom. (could be considered AU, but what setting is up to you, I left it ambiguous. Characters are aged enough to drink alcohol) /人 ‿‿ 人\ Rin's Birthday (and what happened after) When it came to Rin's birthday party, Yuzu was sure of three things. One, that there would be alcohol. Two, it would probably be cheap alcohol. And three, who would be on the guest list. (University AU - they're all between 20 and 24) /人 ‿‿ 人\ Parking Fine As a lover of music, Yuzu likes to think of her life as a Green Day song - organised chaos. Her friends are very much a part of that chaos. So you can only imagine how they drive. A story in which there is a lot of yelling, bad road rage and even worse parking. (High School AU - in the same universe as Some House Party) /人 ‿‿ 人\ The Road Trip When our band of teenagers decided to go on holiday to celebrate graduating high school, they feel so confident about it they invite some of their younger friends to join them. That was before Reiji was put in charge of the planning. At least the drive there couldn't be so bad, right? Right? (AU - same universe as Some House Party and Parking Fine. Reiji is still a terrible driver) /人 ‿‿ 人\ Rats in a Barrel With the Interdimensional War over, seventeen people gather to celebrate their friend's birthday in Standard. But when this lighthearted celebration turns into more of a murder mystery, everyone finds themselves fighting for their lives. But is the enemy among them? /人 ‿‿ 人\ This is not Caddyshack There was something one must understand about the Lancers. When they take part in a competition, they go to win. Even in mini-golf. Because Lancers don't putt for fun. They putt to win. Even if it is against Fusion Losers. /人 ‿‿ 人\ Ruri's Roommates As one of her friends despairs over being unable to find roommates, Ruri recalls how she ended up living with a baby goth barista, a Disney princess in the making, a guy obsessed with trains and brightly coloured ponchos, and someone who has an emotional range akin to that of the teacher from Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Same universe as "Rin's Birthday (and what happened after)". /人 ‿‿ 人\ Skiing The Lancers and their friends want to meet up now that the four dimensions are getting along (reasonably). What better way to enjoy each others company than through a skiing trip? Now they just had to find a place to do that. And survive a week in each others company. Without Reiji's mitigation. No pressure. (Set in canon, four years after the conclusion of Arc-V) /人 ‿‿ 人\ Miss Hiiragi...is this your dress? Because whoever said that dress shopping was easy? (Appleshipping with references to Fruitshipping. And Gongenzaka and Sawatari being the single weirdest pair of friends ever) /人 ‿‿ 人\ An Interdimensional Wedding The Arc-V cast assembles for a Fruitshipping wedding. Bets are made, shenanigans ensue and what happened to the Best Man? Of course something was going to go wrong. (A sequel to "Miss Hiiragi…is this your dress?", but you don't need to read that one to understand this) (This one-shot is alternately titled "Attack of the minor characters") /人 ‿‿ 人\ Gym Demolition The gym leaders of Sinnoh meet up for a gym leader meeting. Only Yuzu's missing, Yuya's acting weird and there's a troublesome Goomy on the lose. And Sora baked a cake. Badly. (The Yuboys and Bracelet Girls are gym leaders, the remaining Lancers are the elite four. Reiji's the champion. I promise this is an Arc-V story. You don't need to know Pokémon that well at all to read this) /人 ‿‿ 人\ Baccano It's nearing the end of the Prohibition era in America, and the trans-continental luxury express The Flying Lancer is traveling from Union Station to Grand Central Terminal. With a gang of psychopaths, a cult of assassins, a group of delinquents, the family of a senator, two adventurous miners and an awesome fact-finder on board though, it wasn't as if the train was arrive smoothly /人 ‿‿ 人\ Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL: Yuma Tsukumo's Day Off: Yuma decides to take the day off from school. Because why go to school when you can have an adventure in downtown Chicago with your two best friends, all while avoiding parents, your resentful younger sister and the dean of students, Mr Heartland? [Modern AU - everyone lives in Indiana, because] (very obviously based on Ferris Bueller's Day Off, which is an awesome film by the way) Possible future stories: • To finish the Light and Darkness Chronicles already! • Finish Protector of Loyalty. • A prequel for Protector of Silence. • Another ranger one-shot. • More Arc-V comedy stories. OCs: Joshua Gibbous: - (age: 8 - Ashen-blond hair, steel-blue eyes) - Yeah! Someone normal...ish. Oh well! He's a psychic being, like Kellyn and Summer. And creepy. Kansas "Kanna" Kimura: - (age: well, she's roughly a year younger than Kellyn and co. - Platinum-blonde hair, dark-blue eyes) - Keith's girl - that's what she is to me. She becomes the newest top ranger since the original twelve and the youngest (the youngest was originally Kellyn of course). She's a bit of a goody-goody two-shoes and can act like a Mary Sue at times, but that's just one the reasons Keith likes her. Sora "Sorrel" Hitomi: - (age: 9 - Brownish-ginger hair, dark-blue eyes) - Te he! My favourite OC. Not that I'm ever gonna tell him that. He's Kate and Percy's little brother, and a complete psychopath! In a good way! Like me! When he's not winding his sister up, he enjoys playing on the beach in Summerland with his best friend Reed, playing Kingdom Hearts reenactments. Yes, I am serious. Reed Crest: - (age: 10 - Very-dark-brown hair, green eyes) - Sorrel's best friend. He's often seen playing on the beach in Summerland (read: being bashed with Sorrel's wooden sword as he plays various Kingdom Hearts 'bad guys' being defeated by Sora). That's when he's not keeping Sorrel out of trouble around town. Lind Evan Max Dazuru: - (age: 9 - Black hair, brown eyes) - Geez! This guy has more names than the queen! But I suppose he deserves it for all the stuff I put him through. Technically this is Lind Jr - Keith's little brother. He's a very sickly little boy who's constantly in and out of hospital, but is the apple of Keith's eye. BTB Crew: Owari: - (age: ...Let's just say very old. But his physical appearance is about 9 - Black hair, dark-blue eyes) - First one I thought of. For more info on him look at Protector of Silence - chapters 25 and 27. For now, I'll say he works for Arceus. Or at least, he's supposed to, whether he actually does what he's told to do is a little more debatable. He fixes imbalances, and he often throws a hissy fit if a friend causes one - accidental or not. And he doesn't like people in his realm: the Betwixt and Between - like a little kid when someone starts hanging out in their personal spot..actually that's a pretty accurate way of putting it. Hwita [Pronounced: h-way-ah] : - (age: same story as Owari. But she looks about 15 - Silver hair, pale-blue eyes) - You don't really know her yet, but I plan for her to be important in Protector of Silence's sequel. She works for Dialga like Owari does for Arceus, but she actually does her job. She has a sort of rivalry with Owari, and she nearly always comes out on top. She can come across as a bit arrogant - but she tends to think of herself as like a big sister. She looks a bit like Riku from Kingdom Hearts 2 - or at least, that was the idea. Reo: - (age: you get the idea by now. He looks about 6 or 7 - Ginger hair, bluish-grey eyes, rather on the small side) - He's a bit like Sorrel - maybe that's why he's one of my favourites. He works for Palkia, but he rarely (if ever) does his job and nobody really seems to care unless he starts creating imbalances. Which he does. A lot. Anyhow, he looks like a little kid, he acts like a little kid. Simple as that. Azrael: - (age: just skip this bit. He looks about 16 - Black hair, reddish-brown eyes, quite tall) - Another one. This one works for Giratina. He's like the big brother - running around trying to do his job and stop any major wars his 'friends' have caused. Personality wise, he's rather broodi— okay, he's glaring at me...Pensive. Yeah, pensive will do. The (many) dead ones: Kristen Feather: - (age: 16 - Lithe, black hair, black eyes) - Okays, Kris. Don't get him mixed up with Dexholder Kris. He's a friend of Spenser and the gang's. A little cold, but a nice guy once you get to know him. -Ish (Okay, he starts off that way but he ends up in a very different headspace to where he started from) Jethro Fawkes: - (age: Early-forties - Tall, red-hair, brown eyes) - The fiery blaze of Ringtown, Jethro was Spenser's predecessor and one of the first leaders of Ringtown Base. A strong, fair leader with a great sense of justice, Jethro mentored many rangers including Spenser. Much like Spenser and Joel, he has a friendly rivalry with Rafe in which he is the 'Joel' of the relationship. He has a strong dislike for psychic beings, due to the fact he believes their powers can be misused to bring catastrophe to the world. He is currently head of The Council of Fallen Rangers. Rafe Small: - (age: Late-twenties - Small, long brown hair, brown eyes) - Tiny but terrifying - this sums up Rafe pretty well. A former Fall City leader at the same as Jethro, he's a little firecracker of energy waiting to go off and usually has to be grabbed by the collar to stop him from running head-first into danger (usually by Jethro). Despite the fact there's an age gap of a few years, he and Jethro are close friends and rivals like Spenser and Joel, in which Rafe plays the 'Spenser' of the relationship. However, he does have a habit of letting Jethro influence his decisions and can be quite manipulative towards other people himself. He's on The Council of Fall Rangers, but rarely takes it seriously. Erin Becket: - (age: Late-twenties - Tawny hair, blue eyes) - Identifiable by her signature camo bandana, this leader's pretty much like most Summerland residents - often laid-back with her favourites quote is: "Keep calm and carry on". Erin's Cameron's predecessor but not mentor and, in my opinion anyway, really irritating! She can't keep her mouth shut and gets along well with Rafe (Well duh, they're both bombs of bouncy-ness ready to go off!) She likes watching movies and TV shows and has a habit of calling upon quotes from them a lot. She never really has a bad word to say anyone (except the bad guys) and has a habit of disagreeing with Jethro and Nevada just to prompt an amusing if not slightly exasperated reaction. She's also a member of The Council of Fallen Rangers, but if most of the other members had their way, she wouldn't be. Nevada Martel: - (age: Mid-thirties - Long blonde hair, green eyes) - Elita's predecessor and the first Wintown Base leader (they got a base later than other towns), Nevada is not a woman you want to get on the bad side of. She's pretty much Elita, but with a more rude and spiteful personality. She's Erin's opposite and never hesitates to point this out. She's very strict and follows rules like her life depends on them, even if they aren't her rules. She hates psychic beings because of the consquences of her saving one in the line of duty. Oh, and she kinda creeps everyone but Jethro and Elita out. (She creeps me out too...) Lark Brown: - (age: 15 - Beautiful, long curly brown hair, brown eyes) - Kind, caring and sweet, Lark is by no means you average Wintown ranger. She's the kind of girl guys kill for, but she doesn't acknowledge her beauty. She went to Ranger School and became a ranger alongside Elita. She has a crush on Spenser. She can't bare suffering and won't fight back to defend herself at all. She has a soft spot for children, despite not having any of her own. She spends most of her time watching over Spenser and Elita - and keeping Lind out of trouble. /人 ‿‿ 人\ Shouta: - (age: 14-15 - Blue hair, pale-golden eyes) - A Light and Darkness OC. He's Hyoma best friend in Koma Village and owns the bey Light Pavo. Reminds me of an older version of Kenta in terms of personality. Hajime and Taro Aimura: - (ages: 13 - Both have golden-brown hair, but Hajime has light-brown eyes whilst Taro's are more chocolatey) - A set of brothers. Friends of Tsubasa's. Look almost the same but completely different in personality. Taro's like Tsubasa, Hajime more like Yu. Own the beys Tucana and Falco respectively, but neither are particularly good bladers. Kazuki and Sachiko: - (ages: 4 or 5 - Kazuki has dark hair and aqua eyes, Sachiko honey-blond hair and light-blue eyes) - A duo of orphans that take a shine to Hyoma. Little kids by name, little kids by nature. More about them will come soon. "If you think that nothing is impossible, then you've obviously never tried slamming a revolving door." |
