I loved it! The only thing I kind of missed was the curious case of the fourth 'nearly' starter - or did he give Pikachu to Ash because he knew Ash had one? ;)

Not only was this an interesting concept, but also a very well written story, many fanfics I've been reading had an interesting concept, but the writing left more to be desired. Not here, my friend!

awwwww! That was the most adorably sweet story ever! I loved how you wrote it in Sammy's perspective, and how you incorporated the voices. I was a little skeptical about the hearing voices bit, but you did a great job :)

This was really, really cute. Especially the ending scene.

The one criticism, for lack of a better word, I have is that the first line, "Sammy Oak grew up with voices in his head," makes it sound like he always heard voices. But then you go on to say how it was a side-effect of time travel, which would imply he doesn't hear the voices until he's around 16.

Read through the whole thing and think it is awesome :P
